Here's a fun anecdote: Jax now knows what it means if you say "Ok. Let's go to bed. Time to go read books." He walks to his bedroom door. If I say, "Go to Daddy's room and get him," He'll go to our bedroom door. If I say, "Go to Mommy's room," He has no clue what the E-ff to do. You know why? He has no idea that's where I sleep, because he's neverrrrr seen me do it. But that's where he knows to look for his father. Jes-u....
H loves music. He has his own little CD player in his room that my mom bought for him. He has three CDs- one of Sandra Boynton stories told to music, one of animal-themed songs in bluegrass (Think "Old McDonald" and "Pop! Goes the Weasel"), and one of classical nursery songs that I refer to as his "night-night jams." He loves cruising over to his CD player, pressing play, and jamming. I absolutely love it! I secretly hope that he's a musical kid and not into sports. Because we all know how I feel about sports....
I am the same way Tarheel!! I want Rory to go into musical theater. DH and I have already decided football and hockey aren't allowed because we don't want a head injury. :P

Same here! We made a rule that football is out. My parents are saying (and I quote) to only allow him to play "gentlemen's sports." In other words, golf. Perhaps tennis.
So way back in the day I posted that I thought I would be going into labor and later on that evening you started a thread asking about me and I felt so freaking honored. I told DH, "Honey the mod of our board just asked specifically about me!"
The only downside to today's early release is that I thought I would get home in enough time to put DS down for a nap and get in a little afternoon delight with DH before he had to go to work. But alas, the naughty gods were not with us, and by the time I made it home and got Jax down, DH had about 10 minutes before he had to go. Womp woooooomp. I'm so much more on my game in the afternoon!

I prefer afternoon delight as well!!! Sky rockets in flight!!!
@TarheelMama202 okay I'll post one - but I warn you I'm in my neon polka-dot bathrobe!

When I read this, I thought "H" referred to your DH. It took me a minute. And I was all kinds of confused.
Ah, I'm so sorry! I forget all the time because we always just refer to our son as "H". He's a Henry.
We haven't ruled out any sports. But want to hear something weird?? I have no paranoia about football. Both my brothers played it. I grew up around it, to the point that it's a huge family bonding piece for us. But as far as sports go, I have a fear of letting my kids do gymnastics or ice skating. The risk of injury for those two are probably exponentially less than football. But the swinging and jumping in the air at high velocities....just....

LMAO. I was just telling DH that I wanted Rory to go into figure skating. :P
