brushing teeth?

Has anyone been doing this for their LO?  One of the mom's at daycare mentioned brushing her daughter's teeth, she's the same age as my guy. I don't know why but I never thought of doing that. I guess I will ask at his 9 month check up this week.

There are some similar threads that were posted not too long ago that prob have some more answers, but, you can get little toothpaste and finger brushes if you want to. All that really needs to be done is a wet washcloth over the teeth at this point

We use the orajel baby tooth and gum cleanser tooth paste. It came if with a finger brush. We try to brush them in the morning after breakfast and at night before bed. LO loves it as of now !

I asked this question at the 9 month appointment. LO only has 4 teeth, 2 upper and 2 lower. Pediatrician said right now it's sufficient to just use a wet washcloth to clean the teeth. When she have 8 teeth, then we can start brushing.

Thanks! I didn't think he would need toothpaste now but I wasn't sure if I should be doing something else. 

I didn't realize someone posted this before. I did a search but only found posts about brushing older kids teeth.
