I'm seriously considering giving it up for Lent. The excuses I've already made in my mind for why not to do so:
- We're planning on TTC #3 this summer. Why give up wine now when I'll have to give it up for so long then?
- I only like to give up things that are actually difficult, which is why I stopped giving up chocolate. And it won't be *that* hard to give up wine, right? So what's the point? (... ahem...)
- During Lent I will be starting a new job, having my PhD defense, and having a family bday celebration where MIL will be present (always a reason for wine that evening). Now might not be the best time to give up a good evening stress reliever.
Any other good reasons I shouldn't give it up?

Your reason #1 is more than enough reason not to do it on my book but Dubs and DC made good points.
And had to really force myself not to buy more today.
