fibroids?

I had an elective ultrasound on the 13th to find out the sex of our little peanut and they found a rather large fibroid. Since they don't diagnose anything they took pictures for my Dr and called him to let him know.

I had a regular scheduled appointment with my DR on Valentine's day and got to talk with him about it. I've just been a nervous wreck even after speaking with my Dr so I was wondering if anybody had experience with these?

I only have one they believe but it is almost the size of the baby and I'm measuring 22 weeks at 17 weeks. He told me that it shouldn't affect the baby but it probably will affect my delivery. I know there are worse things and I'm trying to stay calm just looking for other experiences to calm my nerves.
