I have an older iPhone that mostly works fine. I've resisted upgrading because I was grandfathered in to an unlimited data package with Verizon and the next time I upgrade my phone, I'll lose it and be relegated to 2GBs/month for the same price as what I'm paying now.
I realize, eventually, I'll need a new phone but I feel so lost in this sea of limitations on my browsing. My phone tells me that in my current period (whatever time-frame that is) I've used 3.5GBs - so.. shit. How are you guys doing with your data usages?

I have a sad iPhone history. (FWP.) I had an iPhone 5, and I usually used between 2GB and 3GB on that. Then I washed it in the washing machine, and it couldn't be fixed, so I had to go back to an old iPhone 3, and I only used 1GB a month on that because it was so incredibly slow. Now I have an iPhone 4 and use a little less than 2GB.
We don't stream movies or shows and we don't Skype unless we have extra data for the month.

I would look into that if I didn't live in the hills (literally) and I'm lucky Verizon gets decent coverage here.
