AF, where are you!?!

Ugghh...

I am on CD40 (supposedly 16dpo -- according to the u/s that showed my follie releasing!?!) and there is just no sign of AF  (  I took another test yesterday, and still a BFN, so now I'm sort of playing this waiting game.  I can say that I never did get a temp spike, so that has had me thinking something was off for the past few weeks anyway.

I woke up this morning with some pretty uncomfortable pressure/discomfort in my abdomen, but it feels different than AF pain, so I'm not sure what to make of it.  I don't want to overthink it, because it could possibly just be gas pains or something, but it definitely feel like a 'uterine' type discomfort (if that makes ANY sense).

Any thoughts on how long I should wait before I call my RE!?  AF has always come on time for me after O, and I've never had a cycle where I didn't O on my own...so this is all very new to me.

Edited to add...

I was not on progesterone this cycle, so that isn't holding me up.

IntuitiveBlue, good to know.

I find it SO strange because after 2 different medication tries, I had 2 good follies on CD22.  Only 1 showed at CD24, and it appeared to be releasing when I went in for my IUI.

I never got a temp spike and had weird cramping on my right side for quite a few days in the 2ww, so I thought maybe I had a cyst, but all discomfort went away after a few days.  

I know every cycle can be different, but my body just feels so whack right now!!

Ugh, I'm sorry, I hate Limbo.  I have Limbo every month since my AF is always 2 days late..it's not fair we already have to wait 2 weeks and then she wants us to wait longer!  I agree with pp, I'd call the RE and schedule bloodwork to check progesterone levels, especially since you did not see a temp spike. Thanks @pmpknbride -- limbo is the WORST!!

I did end up calling the RE's office, just to ease my mind.  They want me to keep testing, and if AF doesn't come by Friday to call and they will have me in for b/w.  At least I know there will be a plan moving forward.

I know a lot of people tell me not to worry about the temp spike, but I've been temping for almost 2 years and ALWAYS get a temp spike...regardless of medication...but I did take two different medicine combos this cycle, and I know meds can throw things off...so who really knows!

I'm a worrier by nature...I wish I could turn my brain off!

@Intuitiveblue -- I didn't.  I only had my P4 drawn once at 7dpo and it came back at a normal level, so they didn't continue having me come in for that.

I actually had to request that b/w to be done, so I'm not sure if its something that my RE does standard???
