Tmi? Maybe but how much did u bleed after d&c

So had my d&c today. First hour, almost filled a pad. Next hour scant amount. Next hour again scant amount . Next hour scant. Now, none. I thought I was supposed to bleed more I guess for a least 4-5 days? Any input or experience that someone would be willing to share with me ?

I bled quite a bit the first day. It has gradually decreased every day. I had my D&C on Friday and today the bleeding is very light. Everyone is different though. I wouldn't worry about not bleeding.

I second the PP. I had heavy period like bleeding the 1st day. After that light bleeding and then some small clots. Then hardly no bleeding, I wore a panty liner instead of a pad. That was a 5 day process. I too wouldn't worry about not bleeding. I'm happy for you that it's letting up. The 1st day without bleeding I felt like I could finally start to move forward. Every time I had to change a pad I got so depressed. I was just happy not to see blood anymore

It does vary so much for each person. When I asked a friend before having the procedure last year, she said she hardly bled at all, just a few days, then I ended up bleeding for two weeks, but the second was lighter. I bled less after my natural m/c but it might've had something to do with how far along I was for each. I'm glad your bleeding has been light so far and hope it goes away soon

I just had my d&c yesterday, so I can only speak to one day. I've had minimal bleeding, usually when I cough or sneeze. My doctor said I could experience bleeding but it doesnt happen to everyone.

Ok well that makes me feel better. I just wanted everyone's thoughts about how theirs was and wanting to make sure my body was doing the right thing to heal because I really don't wanna go back to hospital for it !

I bled and was really crampy immediately after the procedure, then bleeding decreased for a couple of days, then 3 days afterward, I bled a lot and passed multiple large clots. After that, it was mostly spotting. I spotted for almost 2 weeks. Hugs!!!

I've had 2 and my experience was different both times. The first one I barely spotted after my procedure and the next 4 days. Then I got cramps and started bleeding like a normal period on and off for about a week. I passed a bunch of small clots. And sorry if this is too much tmi but it would almost be like cramp for a while then a gush of blood and then taper off. The second one I bleed a bit after the procedure then nothing the next morning. Then bled for the next week like a normal period. I'm not in the second week and I've just had brown spotting the past few days. Just be prepared for it to start and stop.

I was like you in the beginning and then it picked up on days 6&7 to like a med-heavy flow and then faded quickly back to nothing.

Mine definitely started and stopped a lot as well.  It can really vary.  This last D&C I bled a little the first day. Nothing the second, then the 3rd and 4th I bled like a heavy period with cramps.  It tapered off at around 7 days.  I had some spotting on and off for a few days.  Then disappeared completely by 2 weeks.  My hubby and I started having sex again and I got brown spotting the day after that for 2-3 days.  So yeah, my point is, it varies a lot!  I don't think there's a normal but as long as your aren't profusely bleeding you are fine.  Good luck and I'm so sorry for your loss
