I really love Noah James or Noah Alexander, but dh is not on board with Noah at all. A name he likes is Jake, only our first son is Tyler Jacob, do you think that is weird or something neat they would share? Siblings are Tyler Jacob and Zane Grayson. DH also suggested Matthew nn Matt, but it is definitely more traditional and Tyler and Zane are not so traditional. Obviously, trendy does not bother me too much.

I would steer clear of Jake unless it's a family name or something, because once you've used it, if you use it again, I always think it makes the parents appear like they didn't try that hard in naming their kid? I personally like Dexter Ryan.

I wouldn't name another child Jake/Jacob.

Dex & Nate are my favorites.

IMO, Zane and Tyler are stylistically very different. Tyler could just as easily be a 30 year old as it could a 3 year old, and Zane is very trendy. With a third name, I'd try to strike a balance between the two.

Nate/Nathan: this name is just as traditional as Matt/Matthew, and I dislike it with Zane.

Jacob: I think it's a little odd to give one son another sons MN as a FN. Kind of like you couldn't come up with his own name like you did for his brothers, so you recycles one. I think previously used names should be off the table.

Blake: NMS, but it works well with your other two names.

Dexter/Dex: I actually really like this option. It's a little funky, like Zane, but has a solid history, like Tyler. It would be my first choice from your list. I especially like Dexter James.

Funny my Dh suggested Flynn, but only because his best friend has a Ryder so together they would be Flynn Ryder from Tangled...I said absolutely not! I do like Reid, I would probably spell it Reed though as it is my Mom's maiden name/family name.

Blake is also not my favorite but I feel like it goes well with Tyler and Zane.

Dexter is growing on me. I go back and forth on it. Sometimes I think dorky/nerdy or serial killer (which I know that association will fade) but Tyler, Zane, and Dex just go well together too.
