1. Got some baby clothes on sale. We have absolutely nothing else yet, so it felt good to get something, albeit small.
2. Cards Against Humanity game night this weekend at my place Saturday night with all of my urban family coming.
3. Did a big haul yesterday, got all the groceries we have needed for a while and did a lot of cleaning and laundry. We've been behind because he is working insane hours and when I'm home I've still been nauseous/gagging most of the time at 23 weeks and in no mood to clean anything, but we did it together and with very few complaints.
1. Nobody in the house is sick today. 2. I don't have to go anywhere in this crappy weather. 3. DH left the coffee pot going this morning so I didn't have to re-heat it. 4. DD and DS are playing so nicely together for the time being so I can sit for a little bit. 5. For all my pregnancy pains the past few days because it means I'm still pregnant.
I am grateful that I got a call this morning that the weather is too bad so my office isn't even opening so I don't have to go into work. Yay a day off to get some stuff done around the house that I have been putting off.
1. Waking up this morning 2. My great support system I have in family, friends, and dh 3.Being able to meet my needs everyday 4. Having a healthy pregnancy so far 5. Of course being off today
1. I'm grateful for my husband who is leaving work early to help me deal with a flat tire (yes, I am being a damsel in distress right now but car issues are just not something I am comfortable handling on my own)
2. I'm grateful for my mom who has spent every weekend for what feels like months now helping me build nursery furniture and get my house together.
3. I'm grateful for DH's aunt/Godmother who has treated me like family since day one and has generously offered to throw me a baby shower for his side of the family to ease the burden on my mom
4. I'm grateful for the baby kicks I get to feel every day now, and that DH finally got to feel them for the first time last night
I'm forever grateful for The Hubs. He puts up with my moodiness, is my rock when I need him, always makes me laugh or know someone when he needs to make me laugh (Even when I don't want to), and most importantly, he laughs off my Bump Brain moments when they strike.
I'm grateful that although my son is the laziest student, he has a heart of gold and is such a great helper to his mama when The Hubs isn't around. Even if he makes yet another TRex arm comment to me before grabbing something out of reach.
I'm grateful to NFM for having a great 3D Blu Ray player on clearance then for it ringing up $44 less than marked... SCORE!
@joules235 - what is this book you speak of?? Inquiring minds need to know!
1. It's a four day weekend for me. 2. Last night's insane wind didn't damage our fence. 3. H did the dishes without me nagging him. 4. The last two nights I've been able to sleep.
1. DH, the boys, and I are on our way out to a RV resort for the week. 2. Our back tire flew off our 5th wheel, turns out DH said it isn't as bad as last time and he can fix it! (Last time we were stuck on the side of the freeway for 3 days so I'm pretty happy that we will be up and running soon). 3. DH took the boys with him so now I can study for my test in peace and quiet.
To top it off when walking through the door and hearing my daughter say mommy u are home. Also getting a big hug and kiss from her. It puts a smile on my face.
I am grateful that it looks like we will be able to manage on one salary once Charlie is born. We're managing to save a little between now and then and it's taking a huge load off my mind.
I am grateful for the day I spent with C, and the fact that it managed to restore my faith in my ability to be a SAHM. Not happy that DH is feeling so crappy, but forcing me into SAHM mode was not a bad thing.
I am grateful for every kick and poke that this little Charlie gives me, even when it's nap time and he's keeping me awake.
I am grateful for DH's liquid percocet, without which we would most likely have already killed each other. Yay for modern medicine. I am also thankful that since his tonsillectomy, I have not heard him snore ONCE. I may yet get my husband back in bed with me.
I am grateful that I have a job until such time as I decide to be done with it (May 23rd, 2014).
