Babies on the Brain

CD100. Now what?

Today marks cd100 for me. I'm really not sure what to do now. I test every month since I knew this was going to be an issue and obviously it's always a BFN. But I never thought it would go this long. Last cycle was 76 days. DH thinks I should go to the doctor and talk to her about it. I guess I do not have much of a choice about it at this point, do I?

To make it worse, we were blabbed at multiple times at DNs baptism today. A family friend announced she was pregnant....she literally had turned a HPT the day before. Then BIL started telling us "the pressure is on! It's all you guys now! You gotta get on it!" I wanted to slap somebody that very moment. We went out with friends this evening to find out that our friend's ex-step daughter is pregnant, has no idea who the father is, and has not attended a single doctors appointment until recently (she is due any day now). After telling us this story, our friend asked me why I seemed like I was in a bad mood, and then added "what's the matter are you pregnant or something?"

I know, I need to just deal with the comments, and I am. I'm just amazed at how so much baby talk seemed to occur on such a crappy day for me. Anyway, I'm open to suggestions.... What do I do now?

Re: CD100. Now what?

  • What a sucky day...I can only imagine how difficult it is to try to keep your game face on through all that.
You should definitely go to a doctor. Other blogs and more experienced ladies on here say (correct me if im wrong) if you hit CD60 with no af or bfp you should make an appointment. I've also read CD90. Regardless, you should probably go, if for nothing else, some peace of mind.

  • Call an OB. Then invest in mattress sized pads and super tampons. I leak out of pads and tampons when I use them alone after long cycles. Double up. Your period could be heavy.
