Hi there!

I've been lurking for a while around here and decided it was time to jump in and say hello! A little bit about me- I'm 32, a teacher, knitter, and theater geek.

DH and I have been married almost 5 years, and we have one four-legged baby(that's her in my tag). We had to put any family plans on hold for a few years while I looked for a permanent teaching job (there is a shortage of those up here in New England), but now that I've been in my school for over a year, we both have a touch of baby fever. I've already learned quite a bit on this board and thought it was a good place to start. Looking forward to (finally) being part of the conversation on here!

Oh, and I promise to come up with some kind of clever signature soon!

I teach 5th grade. I love it! I've also taught both first and fourth grade. Usually at the elementary level, you bounce around a lot in the first few years. DH is a teacher, too, which is wonderful. We have the same vacations and when we need to vent at the end of a bad day, we know exactly where the other is coming from.
