Crinone spotting?

I KNOW that Crinone makes you spot. I was on it for about 8 weeks, 7 weeks of once a day and 1 week of twice a day. However, I stopped almost 2 weeks ago and am still spotting a little. How long did it take you guys to get it all out of your system and for the irritation to clear? My doctor suggested doing a finger sweep, but I really don't want to do that...
Me (31) - PCOS with insulin resistance

4 rounds of Clomid = no response
IVF # 1 - ET (1 3AA, 4 frosties): 12/22 = BFP
EDD: 9/9/2014

    Why don't you want to do the finger sweep? It's easy and otherwise you will have that stuff stuck up there for weeks. Helpful hint: the shower is a good place to do it.

    my RE suggessted the finger sweep every 2 days when I was on it, I sometimes would do it every day in the shower because it would get so gooped up :(

    I was on crinone til 12 ish weeks. It's really not a problem to do a finger sweep, it really might help with the irritation and help your cervix heal. Even if you were on pelvic rest a finger sweep is totally different. There's no real force or friction while doing it. Hope the spotting stops!

    Okay, finger sweep it is... I'm worried it'll freak me out if it comes out with blood mixed in, but that's gotta be less freaky then constantly having it on the toilet paper.

    It also turns brown when it oxidizes so it may be that as well
