I'm sure this has already been said, but since I'm not going to read replies...
I'm a big proponent of sleep training. We used a Ferber-like method with DD1 at 6 months. However, I wouldn't do it til 5 months plus. Even Ferber says 4 months is the minimum. For me it would just depend on the kid and the situation.
DD2 was sleeping pretty well. The last couple of weeks, she has regressed a bit. It sucks but it could be worse. Believe me. I know how bad it can be because DD1 was beyond terrible until we sleep trained her. But I won't consider sleep training DD2 until I think it's necessary or we are all ready for it.
