Let's pretend...

I am trying to avoid the huge pile of laundry that I need to do so let's play a game. 

You are minding your own business, hanging around the house, when all of a sudden you start having these horrible pains. They get worse and worse so you call 911. They immediately come and take you in the hospital. The Dr comes in and tells you the baby is coming. Whaat?! You didn't know you were pregnant. AHH! You try and get in touch with your SO but he doesn't answer. A few minutes later this beautiful baby girl is placed on your chest. YAY! Congrats! But its not over. Whaat?! Out pops another baby. This time a beautiful baby boy. That's right you were pregnant with girl/boy twins and didn't even know it. 

You still can't get in touch with your SO. You hear a knock on your hospital door. A reporter comes in and says he wants to pay you a million dollars for your story, after all you just had a surprise twin birth. There is only one catch... He has to know what you named them. BUT you just gave birth and it hasn't hit you yet that you just had one let alone TWO babies and you haven't even told your SO yet. But a million dollars is on the line... 

What do you name your babies?

I would name them Susannah Jean and Samuel Issac.

Oscar Justin and Annabel Kimberly. Those are our top choices right now. Haha.

A million dollars sounds really nice right now. Even $15,000 would make a huge change in my life.

I'm 4'11" so there is no way I'd somehow not realize I was pregnant with twins!! But for fun...I would name them Henry James and Amelia Rose. I would have no problem telling the reporter that if he was giving me $1M.

Psh, we talk about it plenty even when I'm not pregnant so I wouldn't have a problem. 

If it happened in real life, I would probably go with Sybil Kay and August Randall, which are names I know DH would like. In this pretend world, I would use the opportunity to use my favorite girl name that DH doesn't like: Marigold.

It's hard for me with girl names because I like so many. For boys, there are few options.

For a million bucks (though I'm with PP who said at 4'11", there's no way I wouldn't know I was PG with one, much less TWINS!) I'd blurt out a couple of names, then pay to have the names changed once we could discuss everything.

If I had to name my kids right on the spot, I'd probably go with Samuel Joseph (only boy's name DH and I agree on) and Nicole Grace.  Although our girl name choices change on an almost daily basis.
