Hi ladies,
I'm hoping you can provide some R names for me! DH and I share the same initials RV. Our last name is Italian, 4 syllables.
Names out because of family are Ryan, Rebecca, Renee, Rae and Rachel.
DH would love for our kids to share initials with us. We are not finding out the sex. My DH loves the name Ryder. It has grown on me since he suggested it. The only R name I care for is Reagan.
I've looked on a lot of websites and they offer very strange names. We don't want anything too popular or trendy and definitely nothing youneek. I work in the education field so I also have a lot of name associations!
We are also considering names not starting with R. The only girl name we both like is Stella.
DH's MN is Walker. It's a family name and he'd like to pass it onto a boy. I'm okay with that if I get to pick the first name. In a perfect world, DH would pick a boy FN and I'd pick a MN and vice versa and the same for girl names. Then we'd have 2 sets of each to narrow it down to.
Names I like but DH hates are Sawyer and Finn, and Evelyn is my front runner for a girl.
Names are tricky because of our LN. If you have any suggestions on R names boy or girl, or names that mesh well with a long last name I'd love to hear them. DH tried to nix Evelyn because of the 3 syllables but I reminded him my name has 3 syllables so he lost that argument :-)
TIA! !

The only boy R names that come to mind: Reed, Rhys, Richard, Randy, Randall, Raphael, and Reginald.
The only girl R names that come to mind: Rhonda, Reagan, Rosemary, Rosanne, Rose, Roslynn, Raelynn, and Rosaria.
I think Rhys and Rose are my personal faves. I really wanted to use Rhys as a mn with DS2 but DH didn't agree.
2) I love Finn, Stella, and Evelyn.
Boy: Randall, Rex, Robert, Roy, Rocco, Romeo
Girl: Rose, Rosa, Ruth, Roxanne, Ruby (love!), Renata
Being familiar with long Italian last names, I'd probably stick with a one or two syllable name. Anything longer and it'll get nicknamed, especially if it's a boy.
I'm partial to Raymond.
Ronen
Rocco (for an Italian name).
girls Rena
Rose
Roxanne
I never even thought of Walker as walk along with Ryder as ride until you said that. Walker was just always the boy MN in DH's family from the family LN.
