Ohh, it'll be so much better if you start from scratch @monkeybabe. The first three books are fairly short anyway. Give it another shot! So good!
Yeah, I read the first few when I was 11, I think. I remember my paternal grandpa was spouting off about it being the devil's something or other at a family function at our house, and about a week later I had a copy of the first book on my bed with a note from my maternal grandmother saying something about imagination. I wish I had kept the note, and the book now, because she was the most kick ass lady ever.
No it was a mom putting her son to bed and then goes into her room and talks to a picture of the dad and says " he's not the only one that misses you" then she finds a vibrator in her drawer as a gift from him

That's awesome. She sounds kick ass. :-) I think we're about the same age-ish, I was 10 or 11 when the third came out and the series really took off (in the US anyway). Do you remember which book you left on with?
It was either Goblet of Fire or the one after. I can only clearly remember reading up to that. I think we're withing months of each other in age. 24, birthday in May.

I just bought one a couple weeks ago, but it was so inexpensive; I feel I need a second for back up since my suits don't fit me from the last two years.

Re: Drinking yet?
PSA - if you have brownies that are a little dry, pour some Baileys on them and microwave them for 30 seconds. You're welcome.
Still ate 2 tho.
Gah. Old.
