C has a rash under her nose that has been there for about 2 weeks...it looks like little pimples. It's on the underside of her nose and continues down to her top lip. It started as just a few bumps around her nostrils. It has now started spreading around the corners of her mouth to her chin. She also has been having what seems like baby acne in other areas of her face for the last few days, a few bumps on her cheekbone by her eye, one in the middle of her cheek, etc. but I don't know if it's related at all.
I wasn't concerned at first because it seemed similar to the teething rash she had under her chin a few months back, but it keeps spreading and she hasn't had a runny nose or anything that would cause an irritation rash in that area. Any ideas? Should I be concerned? Does this warrant a trip to the pedi? Or should I wait it out
Re: Rash under nose
Though- if it's an allergy concern, then I probably would call the pedi and stop any new food you started in the last few days, just in case.
Also, pay attention and see if LO is licking her upper lip, around her mouth, etc. My LO was doing that and it was causing a rash. I pretty much put aquaphor on her nightly and it's gone by morning.
