Hi ladies. 

I have 2 boys, Mathieu (3.5) and Everett (1.5) and H and I have just started TTC #3. Pretty sure we are out this month. Boo. Anyways, I am 25yrs old, I SAH, and I live in N. Houston. I have been on TB since I was pregnant with my first but life keeps getting in the way of my bump time and I go MIA. I'm hoping to actually stay here and participate for a while if you ladies will have me.

@petey1106 Thank you! We always get very mixed opinions on Everett. Either people love it or they just don't get it. MIL still doesn't get it.

I HATE when bad associations mess with an awesome name. We actually had a hard time picking out a name for Everett because of that. BUT... I think it worked out ok.

We are in The Woodlands right now. We have been here for about 7mos. We are looking to move to the Clear Lake area in June. We love The Woodlands but H has a pretty rough commute so we are hoping to get closer to his office. 

Where did you move here from if you don't mind me asking? Sugar Land is suppose to be a really nice area. Do you like it?

I'm from the Spring area and my DH grew up in Sugar land. Both our folks are still in those areas.

I love the Woodlands. When I started researching, I just knew that's where I wanted to be. Of course my job brought me here. Depending on where my husband gets a job, we want to get out to Katy.

We moved here from Louisville, Ky. We moved technically for my job, but the intent was to move here for a better Jon market for h. He just graduated with his Physics degree. He took the scenic route through college lol

Thanks ladies! I am loving seeing all these Houston folks coming out. It always seems that when people say they are in Texas they are in the Dallas area. 

@TheTrunchbull we moved here because of H's job. We had to find a place in a week that accepted 2 big dogs, in our price range, and wasn't too sketchy because he had a lot of traveling to do and I was going to be left alone for a while. It sucked and after calling about 30 places the only one that meet this criteria and was available was in The Woodlands. I wish we wouldn't have moved here first because I do love it so much and I am really going to be sad to leave it BUT this 1.5-2hr commute every day is just insane. 

The biggest city we have ever lived in was Tallahassee, Fl and not going to lie Houston scared the shiit out of me. I may have cried my first time driving in the crazy traffic lol.

Does he work in the NASA area? I can't imagine the drive to clear lake! What kind of dogs do you have?

His office is actually in Pasadena, but we have been told that Clear Lake is better place to live. I will take a 20 minute commute over his current one ANY day lol. 

We have two black labs. One is like 100lbs the other is closer to 130. We are renting till we know for sure where we are going to end up (we have moved several times for his job the last few years). The limit for rentals seems like its always a small dog or ONE dog up to 99lbs.

Oh gotcha. I love labs! As soon as H gets a job, we will be renting a house and plan on getting a great Dane. We can't wait to have a big ass dog lol

We love our labs but I think once these guys are gone we are going to be getting a Newfie instead. We love big dogs as well, but we need a dog that was made to swim lol.
