Worst names ever

I met a 5 yr old girl today names 'Icyejewlz' (pronounced Ice-jewels). Wtf parents... REALLY??? You should be fined. Also I know of some twins named 'Before' and 'After'. I also know of a lady named 'Shithead' (written name) but is pronounced 'sh-e-tae'. You just can't make this stuff up. What are some of the worst names you've ever come across?

  • When we were looking at lists of boy names, Abcde was one on the list. Just ridiculous!

  • I know a La-a ( la-dash-a), and Anita Balloon. My mom has told me stories of a woman naming her child Placenta.

  • When my daughter was born there was another baby named handsome!
  • oddly enough when my DS was in the NICU we had this same conversation with the nurses. they said when a baby comes in with a really weird name they change it's name to something they think fits better lol. my brother had a friend who named their daughter "poppy sunshine". they were strange anyway though.

  • I met a Love Lee (first and middle name) at a party in high school. Still wonder to this day if it was real or not.
  • First and last name didn't sound bad. Cry.stal Lear. But you add in her middle name (Chanda) and you basically get Crystal Chandalier.

  • I've met a Richard (dick) Siemens, An Anita Weiner and an Anita Fphister (pronounced fister). I went to high school with a Star Diamond (first and middle) for a boy!

Also, Summerfield for a boys first name. Lion for a boy. Morgan and Taylor, twin girls.

I know I have more but that's all I can think of right now.
  • Espn (es-pin) and cougar
  • I don't think Poppy Sunshine is bad. I guess Sunshine is kinda different, and together it sounds a little hippie-ish, but I love love love Poppy.

I had a friend in 5th grade named Hea.ven Le.igh... Heavenly. The worst part was the last name. Fishback. No joke.

  • I don't think it's a "worst" name but probably the most unusual name I've heard was a little boy in Barnes & Noble named "Adirondack". He was playing with DS at the train table and his very chatty older sister told me all about it and said they call him "Dack". It was kind of cute.

  • I'm sure I've share this before but in middle school a grade ahead of me there was a boy names Bud Wiser (first and last). I still feel so bad for that kid.
  • Most Precious Michelle.  Most Precious was the first name, Michelle was the second.  Saw it on a college "inquiry" card when I was working admissions.  Also saw a couple of Princes.  And a John Wayne.  I wish I was joking.

I went to school with a precious unique and a girl named heaven lee (first and middle name)

I commented before I read all the replies and this just further confirms that you must be my west coast twin or something

  • @kmd1106 that's funny. My name is Lela but pronounced the same and my brothers name is Luke. Not a twin.
  • I just thought of another one. I had a customer that had the name Rane Bo Cross when I lived in the Midwest.

  • Haha! This makes me laugh! Maybe the mom saw this because I swear I really did take care of a baby in the NICU that has a name with the dash pronounced!
  • My good friend in HS was named Aero Smith... a whole new level.

  • Isn't "-" technically called a hyphen? Poor kid... that is coming from a mom with a hyphen containing name for my LO. And they dont even print the hyphens on the birth certificate. That kid might have some difficulties.

I work with a Niamh. She's from Ireland and this is a Gaelic name. Everyone pronounces it wrong but it's pronounced according to the Gaelic alphabet. Figured is share this fun fact! I also work with a Roisin pronounced Ra sheen. Also Gaelic.

I just think it's kind of odd when people use names from other cultures that they have no ties to. This girl doesn't.

  • I had a boy at my last school named Happy (his sisters were Cinnamon & Ophelia), a girl named Precious Angel (and don't you dare try to shorten it to just Precious or Angel!), then kids with the location names: Florida, Sierra Leon, Chyna, Italy.

  • I just remembered another. When DD was in hospital, one of the nurses names was 'Unique' but it was spelled some weird way. I don't remember the exact spelling but something along the lines of 'Younique' (I know it started with a Y). Made me laugh because when we were all pregnant we had discussed people giving their children 'Unique' names, or spelling.

  • A tattoo artist we know has a baby gilt named Sailer (first) Monster (middle).
  • I went to school with a girl named Kevin. Not terrible but I always felt bad for her because on any paperwork or anything like that people will most likely assume she's a man. It seems like it could cause confusion.

One of my business contacts at my old job was named Dick Rammer and he only went by Dick. Wouldn't you just use Richard or Rich? People in the office would giggle like children when they'd see who I was faxing... lol
  • I looked up my old classmate Hea.ven Lei.gh Fish.back on Facebook so that I could screenshot it and prove I'm not lying, but she got married and it isn't her name anymore! Grr.

  • I also met a La-a. La dash a
