Hey everyone! I'm doing well overall although it's been a weird week for my body. Last week my nausea abruptly stopped, although I've had a few waves of it since. Then I got this bizarre backache headache that lasted a week - until I could see my acupuncturist who set it straight (thank God for her). I'm really hoping and praying that the end of nausea/beginning of headache is not a bad sign. I guess that answers the QOTW!! The only thing is I'm kind of showing a little bit, at least I think I am although I'm sure a lot of it is bloat and fat! It's hard to tell since I've been in and out of maternity pants (now almost always in) since ER b/c I was so swollen. We have our NT scan next Thursday and I'm trying not to stress about it. I did start a prenatal yoga class this week and I'm super-psyched about it - such a friendly environment. The place has all these other classes too - birthing and lactation so I'm psyched about that. I've also started researching strollers and car seats b/c I'm psycho like that - also I'd love to buy the stroller on Craigslist so I wanted to decide which one to buy. OK sorry for the novel. DH and I are just chilling tonight - celebrated V-day last night!

Cant believe this is my last 1st tri checkin...it has gone so fast yet not at the same time! Things are going great...we had our grad from the RE on Tues where we got our NT results which were great. Our RE made a prediction if the sex which was a GIRL si very exciting...we will find out for sure in 5 wks. We also made our fb announcement today. Its all so surreal.

Qotw: it used to be bad in the very beginning but now I appreciate the great way Ive been feeling. It sure was a mind game at first though!

QOTW:  So far it hasn't. I've got what I would say are mild symptoms, but I just had my first OB appointment and don't have another for 4 weeks….I plan to pass the time being on the bump and not trying to freak out that I don't have a weekly appointment

So we have our first ultrasound on feb 26th and I will be 6weeks 3 days then. Not sure how many nuggets we've for in there but I'm excited to find out!!! Due date is showing October 19th which happens to be my sisters birthday!! So happy to be here!!!

Qotw: I'm having a hard time believing this could be really happening. Just in a little denial and usually wouldn't intro in the board this early but in just gonna go for it!

Hi ladies, I'm now 11w3d. Still awaiting CVS results (should be Tuesday afternoon). Still so nervous!

QOTW: in the beginning I would POAS just to be sure I was still pg, even after the betas confirmed it, until my first u/s at 6w2d. I haven't had m/s at all which truly freaked me out. But when we told my parents, my Mom said shed only thrown up once per pregnancy with each of the three of us, so that was reassuring. I sometimes have nightmares about finding bright red blood when I go the bathroom which makes me so scared to check. So, yeah, definitely still freak out.

I'd like to be added to this check in!

We don't have an official due date yet but I'm pretty sure it's Oct. 14th based on our 6dt on Jan 27th.  We got our 3rd beta back yesterday and it was 8,625; nurse was hoping for at least a 3,600 so we're happy.  Our 1st U/S got pushed back to March 3rd since our 3rd beta got pushed back a day (stupid snowstorm). We transferred 2 embryos so we won't know if we have 1 or 2 beans for another two weeks.

I'm feeling pretty good though I'm getting very tired around 8pm every night which is not normal.  

QOTW: My betas have been so high so of course I start googling what that could mean and at one point convinced myself this was a molar pregnancy.

Hi all- we had our first OB appointment thid past week. It went well but isn't at all like the REs- lots of waiting and no real special attention until you actually see the doc. I guess I just got spoiled! Everything looks good- baby was dancing around so much we couldn't get a good pic. NT scan is 1 week from Monday. If everything looks good there we won't do any further testing.
I'm feeling pretty good but spoke too soon about fatigue fading- it's back, but m/s is mostly gone. Heartburn, however, is making a strong comeback lol. So I guess that answers the QOTW- I'm glad to have symptoms because it keeps (some of) the anxiety at bay.

11w3d today! not much has happened in the past week. i have an appt on tuesday to go over the timeline and appt dates with the nurse at OB office. im hoping ill be able to hear the LO's on the doppler at least since it will be my only chance for added reassurance before we announce next weekend. we initially had our NT scan set for the 21st, the day before we announce just to be safe and have new u/s pics but MFM office called and said they had to push it back because 1. they would rather do it further along and closer to 13 wks as opposed to 12, and 2. the time of the appt interfered with their lunch time. .... i could've gone without hearing the second reason as to why i have to wait an extra week

QOTW: super nervous sometimes. my brain ends up trying to rationalize my fatigue due to the winter blues and just having low stamina from not working out for so long. so i end up delaying taking my zofran dose just so i can feel a bit of nausea (smh..i know..weird) to make me feel better lol

11 weeks on Monday.... I can't believe it! I havr my first OB appointment on Monday too. Terrified that we won't be able to hear a heart beat and they will make me wait a whole month to come back!

Told a couple more people this week but I'm not sure when it will actually feel real.

QOTW: Basically everyday! But I figure if I'm constipated and my boobs hurt so bad I don't want them on my body something has to be happening, right?

This is my last week in the first trimester! We had our nt scan on Thursday and that was absolutely my fave sono so far. It was so cool watching baby flip around and kick and stretch. Once it started moving, it wouldn't stop! We did a valentines day announcement on fb yesterday using our pic from Thursday.
Qotw: I did feel super nervous until Thursday. I was waiting for that sono to really accept that I'm def. pregnant and im going to have a baby as crazy as that sounds. I even took out my belly button ring

Hi ladies. This is my first and last post on first tri as I'll be moving over next week! Sorry but with two one year olds my time to post is limited. I'm feeling a bit better although my whole family was struck with the stomach bug and flu back to back. I actually lost six pounds which is nuts but in sure I'll be gaining it back within no time! To be honest I feel guilty saying this but I felt so blessed to have my twins that I'm super relaxed with this pregnancy. Obviously I want everything to be ok and all, but I just think between wing super busy and enjoying my babies I'm doing ok in terms of IF brain. Hope everyone else is doing well and looking forward to this journey with all of you!

@KatelynSMeyer congrats on moving to next Trimester! I was wondering when my belly ring will have to come out. I'm going to try to keep it in as long as possible (a little rebellion.)

AFM, I'm just trying to patiently pass the time until my next U/S.
QOTW: does your IF brain freak you out when you're not showing yet AND have no symptoms? YES. I actually don't want to show for a long time because we want to keep it a secret as long as possible. But the other stuff scares me. My breasts have stopped hurting and I have not had any nausea at all (7wks). Then, Friday was a REALLY stressful day at work and I started getting bad "period" type cramps and I was sure I was having a M/C. I was in tears and kept running to the bathroom to check for blood. I ate a donut and the cramps went away. I hope it was just severe hunger cramps. Every wait between U/Ss is going to be rough.

Hello all! Everything is going well over here! I am now 13w2d and this Friday's check-in will be my last and I will be moving over to 2nd tri. Our Verifi results were good and we are having a girl. My next OB appointment will be next Monday (the 24th), but there still won't be an u/s, we will just listen to the hb on the doppler...which I do at home anyway. I think I will get to schedule the a/s after the 14w appt though, since the next appointment will be around 18w!! I am really happy that time is moving so quickly. 

QOTW: I always had something going on...if it wasn't nausea it was sore boobs or exhaustion or constipation with bloating. Also, I am starting to show at this point. Despite all of that I still had (and have) IF/AL moments. That is when I take out the doppler!

SO frustrated y'all- I went for my blood draw for the Harmony test today as scheduled. After waiting more than half an hour, the medical asst tells me they can't draw my blood bc my insurance authorization, submitted last Tuesday, has not been signed off on by the medical director of the IPA. Finally after much discussion they still took my blood and will "save it" until tomorrow, in case he magically gets off his ass and signs my paperwork. Otherwise I have to come back. And I meet the automatic criteria for the test to be covered so this is all bs red tape. I'm worried we won't have enough time to schedule a CVS should the test show an issue because from what I've read online, Harmony always take the full 10 business days to come back. QOTW: haven't had this issue since I'm still nauseous as heck 24/7. But IF brain is a bitch anyway!

Waiting for my NT results. Will be calling them tomorrow bc apparently they don't call. I love my MFM though starting from the short wait in the waiting room (they pass out healthy snacks like on an airplane!) to meeting the dr (she really took her time w me and I didn't feel rushed).

QOTW: there may have been a day or so where my IF brain played tricks on me and then my belly popped and I was back on track. Also, I'm pretty sure I felt one of the babies kick last night! Whoa.

I'm 11w6d, and going in for NT scan and MAT21 test tomorrow. Doing my best to stay calm. We had announced our news to immediate family early on, as they were waiting for news, but just decided to share it with the rest of my family yesterday -- my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Oh my, that was a wild ride! I'm still somewhat in disbelief that this is our news to share. No facebook quite yet -- not sure if we'll do that or not. 

QOTW: Heck yes. My queasiness let up quite a bit over the past week, and I have a bit of my appetite back. So of course I'm doubly freaked out about the tests tomorrow. But I'm mostly trying to roll with it, and am pretty excited to get a clearer picture of our little meatball tomorrow.

How frustrating!  Could you schedule the CVS awhile for, say, 2 weeks from now and then cancel it if the test comes back normal?

Last first trimester check-in for me, time is going by fast!  We had our First Trimester screening last week, and results were very good.  All low probability and we are not going to proceed with any additional testing.  I'm noticeably showing now and bought maternity clothes.  The pants are just so much more comfy!

QOTW:  I've been much calmer after the ultrasounds and FTS results.  Also helps that I'm getting bigger now and definitely starting to look and feel pregnant.

Should be about 7 weeks! We had an ultrasound last week, saw the little flutter of a heartbeat on the baby Measured about 3 days earlier than what I thought, putting me at about 7 weeks tomorrow. Going in for our last ultrasound till the 12 week mark this Friday, last time we will be seeing our RE! First OB appt is the 24th. No real symptoms except for fatigue and having to pee constantly, oh and sore boobs off and on. I'm ok with this! Hoping it stays this way

QOTW: does your IF brain freak you out when you're not showing yet AND have no symptoms? A part of my brain does, but I know that if I'm not having sharp pains and no bleeding I am ok. The three ultrasounds at my RE before my OB appointments have really put our mind at ease, checking on the growth three weeks in a row.

I am 7 weeks today and am having TWINS!  We found out yesterday and are still letting the news digest.  Very happy and feeling quite blessed.  What a road to get here!  Our next appointment with the RE is set for March 10th and my 1st OB/GYN appt is set for March 13th.  A long time away but a lot to do at work to keep me busy.  

One more week of the PIO shots.  Hoping I will have less bloat when that is done...not sure if I will lose any weight either once I'm done.  Curious on that one.

I think with all the bloat that I AM showing....to me and my husband!  LOL  I have sore boobs, am up constantly to go to the bathroom, and have been very tired.  With 3 snow related days off from work, I'm getting spoiled and will certainly feel it tomorrow when I need to go back to work for the 1st time since the 12th.    My IF brain still is looking each time I pee to see if I am bleeding though.  Weird not to have a cylce.

First check-in! Hello everyone! My EDD is Oct 12 with twins :-) not much to report, waiting for heartbeats on Friday. I'm feeling pretty good with the occasional smell aversion and nausea. QOTD: IF brain definitely gets to me, but I'm trying to stay positive.

I would love to join your group.  I had my first US today, 2 beans!! EDD 10/10.  So far I'm dealing with major hot flashes, especially at night, and a big PIO belly, but not much other than that.  I'm 6 weeks.  I go back for second US in March.  So excited to have made it this far, and to also see so many familiar names  

QOTD:  Yes, my IF brain thinks I should be more nauseous, and my DH's IF brain thinks so too There's a list of things I think should be happening, my RN says everything is normal, so just trying to relax.  Enjoying my appetite a little too much I think

Hi ladies!

I intro-ed on the board yesterday, and I'd like to be added to this check-in too.

I'm 7.5 weeks and we saw the heartbeat at 7w1d. My EDD is Oct 5th. If all goes well, this bean and DS will be about 22 months apart.

QOTW: This pregnancy was a complete surprise and I was just in shock for a couple of weeks, thinking "this is too good to be true...it can't be real." Now that we've seen the HB and I'm nauseated all day, every day, I'm starting to relax and settle in for the long haul.
