Today I have a monthly check-in with my OB and in the afternoon an appointment at the hospital to pre-register, sign up for classes and a L&D tour, work on our birth plan, complete a birth certificate worksheet, and all that good stuff. I can't wait!
I was able to get an appointment for what I think went from a UTI to a kidney infection. I'm really nervous and I'm not sure why. Probably because of Dr google
Update: Baby girl was rockin' and rollin' in that appointment today. The doctor could barely get a heartrate. But all was well--my penta screens and CF screen all came back negative, and doc was impressed by how active she was. Best Valentine ever!

I've got my follow up a/s at 2:30 EST. Will update after.
UPDATE: a/s went great. Baby was cooperating this time and the u/s tech was able to see everything that she couldn't before. Baby looks great. Still managed to stay Team Green too, although can I just say, u/s's are not as fun when you're team green. With DD we found out and got to watch the whole time on a big screen. This time we only got to see frozen images otherwise the u/s tech had the screen turned away from us.
I just got back from the appointment, thankfully, the infection was caught in time. Thankfully I got put on an oral med to see if that works, if not IV antibiotics on Monday.
I had my A/S this morning- I picked up DH form work, and we were so excited!! When I got there, it turns out my appointment was for 10:30 instead of 10:50 like I thought! (I got confused because my checkup was rescheduled for yesterday at 1:50)
The hospital is going to fit us in tonight, which is great, but I was so bummed! I guess all's well that ends well though!
Best valentines day present ever - got to see baby girl for the first time since she was a speck at 7 weeks. Our 20 us went well, got all the measurements they needed besides spine since she was laying down so will get that at 24. They said everything looked good and is on track so I'm very relieved since I'm a FTM and not always sure what to expect. Love having a picture of her now to look at. Happy vday, everyone!
I had a regular check up this morning - 22 wks. Midwife was happy with everything and my dd came and got to hear baby's heartbeat Midwife was great and said once my dd has gotten use to the office and her we can use the Doppler to show Riley her own heartbeat which I'm sure she will think is pretty cool lol. Next check up is in 4 wks, and I'll have another ultrasound at the point as they weren't able to get all the measurements they needed at my anatomy scan. My husband will be gone TDY but my mom will be in town and she's excited! So all is well!

Well, I was SUPPOSED to have my ziopatch heart monitor put on today at 11 am. So, I go in to my local clinic and am waiting...and it's past my appt time. I hear the receptionist call the hospital that the tech comes from (50 miles away) and she ends up telling me that I was supposed to go over there today to have it put on. REALLY?? That's not what the nurse told me! I had to cancel a sub job today to be there. So, I lost out on a day of pay for nothing.
So, now I get to go back to my local clinic on Tuesday to actually have it done. I was so pissed off that I bawled for like half an hour after I got home (b/c I'm totally an angry/upset crier and it's even worse now that I'm pregnant) and left the nurse a message...still haven't heard back from her.
So sorry! I would have been majorly pissed, too.

I had my anatomy scan today and was told everything looked great. We found out we are having a little girl. She was stubborn and stayed on her belly the whole time, so we get to do another ultrasound next time. My blood pressure was good and the midwife didn't seem too concerned about the dizziness and elevated blood pressure I had on Monday.
I had an elective today and its a BOY!!! (: He wouldn't show his face because he was falling asleep so we go back next Friday for another one at no extra cost and DH will go this next time because he got his special sex reveal today for Valentine's day/Anniversary gift sooo, I'm super happy and excited. This is baby boy #3!! (:
Had a monthly appointment today. Everything was normal from the a/s last week -- I had assumed that to be the case since I didn't get a call. Baby's heart rate was 160. Nice to have confirmation that everything is on track!
U/s went well- LO is doing great!! And cramping is all gone and everything is ok- except I still have the placenta previa- oh well- everything else is so positive
I also have placenta previa. The ultrasound tech mentioned it at my 20 wk a/s two weeks ago, but Friday was my first chance to hear about it from the dr. I guess there is nothing we can do but wait and see if it moves! Good luck.
Re: Friday Anatomy Scans and Appointments
