(((Hugs))) I would miss it too. I am not sure I could go dairy/soy free. Whine away!

Whine away, it's so much easier to give up alcohol than dairy and soy! I hope you can find a good balance. My mom never remembered that I couldn't have dairy and constantly served whatever she wanted. I just ate what I could. Grab yourself some Oreos and don't share.
I'm sorry that really sucks. I'm lactose intolerant but I refuse to give up dairy! I know a mom that had to give up dairy and is also gluten free among other things, i can't imagine giving up so much but i admire it since you're doing it for your child. You're a great mom, and if you have to have a latte couldn't you just pump and dump? Or maybe formula when you need to cheat? Sorry I'm not any help but I remember when DS started getting really fussy I thought it was my milk and so I quit pumping but turned out he had really bad reflux, either way it's not fun at all and tried tons of different formula. I hope things get better. I guess when I was a baby I was lactose intolerant and had to be on soy but that's a bummer your DS is sensitive to that too I second the hiding spot for Oreos! I just ordered 4 boxes of girl scout cookies knowing DH doesn't like a few of them.....I'm sure that was an accident, right?
@bluecards Do you drink caffeine? It made both my kids crazy fussy. Now that D is 8 months he is less sensitive so I can drink a little bit in the morning.

I only did it for 3 weeks when we suspected a dairy sensitivity with Alex and it was hell. I am so sorry you have to do it for a year :-( You are a good mommy!

I'll have to try that! I've given up coffee because of the creamer and I'm still trying to limit dairy but have been having tea and whatnot.
DD had issues to dairy as a baby as well, so I went w/o my lattes, which was sooo hard. I was going to suggest the Vanilla Almond Milk - that was the one thing I could do. I wasn't a fan of it by itself but for cereal/coffee it was good. We were lucky and she actually grew out of the intolerance.

I was so hoping you'd be able to go back to dairy soon too!
