Blast from the past: swaddling question

Up til now, Nicholas has been sleeping in his swing or in our arms. I want to transition him to the bassinet, but he constantly flails and wakes himself up. He seems to hate the traditional swaddle with his arms down. He likes his arms up at his chest/chin. Is there a way to swaddle in that position that he can't break free from?
