For the longest time, DH and I have been of the mindset that things will happen when they happen, and there is no sense in getting worked up about it yet. We haven't bought any baby stuff, or emptied out the spare room. We are waiting until our homestudy is complete and our profile becomes active, just in case. We don't want to start getting our hopes up. But, last night, I bought some baby toys. I found them online for really cheap, and I thought, why not? I was thinking about it later, and I realized that this was the first time that I had made a purchase for our future child. I realized that I have started to think if this as "when" instead of "if". Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing, I don't really know, but I am considering it an improvement.
