High-Risk Pregnancy

*** Thursday Bedrest Check-in ***

Good morning.

How did you sleep?

Any new pregnancy symptoms, cravings, or aversions?

Upcoming appointments, milestones, or updates? (Ticker change?)

QOTD: Most of us in this group of bedresters will have new babies come spring/early summer so besides lots of snuggles what are you most looking forward to? (outdoor activities, wardrobe change, special events, etc.)

Couldn't sleep well b/c DS was in his own bed and doing awesome- go figure. I missed him and the reassurance of his soft breathing next to me, but am I hoping this is good progress towards what we know will be better when baby comes. He had been sleeping well in his own bed, but then everything got thrown off when I was hospitalized at 25 weeks.

Still waiting to hear (edit) what they think about my blood glucose logs and whether I will be dx with GD. I have antenatal testing and an appt next Tuesday. Tomorrow is the gestation my son was born at.

QOTD: I can't wait to take walks as a family and be active again. I'm excited about all the newborn spring time clothes, DS was a fall/winter baby and I'm loving all the pastels!

  • Hi everyone.  I slept ok, up a few times during the night.

Today is ticker change day for me - 32 weeks!  At my OB appointment yesterday I was asking when the cerclage would be taken out (around 36 weeks) and since I am funneled down to the stitch, he thinks I will go into labor shortly after it's removed.  It's hard to believe LO could be here in 4 weeks!  Hopefully not sooner though..

QOTD:  I am definitely looking forward to warmer weather and being outside with the girls!  We are getting yet another blizzard here and I am just over it.  DD has been asking to go to the beach or park for weeks now.  I also love dressing her in spring/summer clothes - for some reason I just think it's a lot more fun with the bright colors and more options.

  • @haziedaze FX that all you glucose levels check out ok and that you won't be dx with GD

@MissChanandlerBong Congrats on being 32 weeks!! That's so exciting to hear you may be meeting your LO in 4 weeks that's not too long from now:)

Sleep has been weird for me lately... I'll eventually fall asleep between 4-5am then I'll be awake from 10-noon then take another nap until 3ish. I suppose as long as I'm getting some sleep I shouldn't complain.

At this particular moment I'm craving a pickle and a large cup of crushed ice lol!!

I have my next appt on Thursday w/ my OB.

QOTD: I'm so ready to feel the sun shining!! This weekend it's supposed to be in the 80's unfortunately I'll be inside so as soon as I can get outdoors in the warm weather I'll be so happy. We probably won't do too much with LO at first but later in the summer I'll be excited for some family bbq's and get togethers.
