Huh? Why would I lie about something like this?? I can post photos if you want..
We did not need to see pictures. I feel like this is totally made up but if it wasn't, then you are a jerk. You don't want to partake in the community, but want us to answer all your questions. Then you spout out a symptom which is clearly not pregnancy related if you are only 3 weeks, and you wave your bfp in our faces. I'm glad you don't actually want to stick around here. Enjoy your pregnancy and you should still probably go to the dr.
Kimbus22 asked for pictures. And I didn't say I don't want to partake, I'd love some friends, but I simply don't have the time. I'm in school, my boyfriend works, and we refuse to use babysitters. My symptoms are pretty clearly pregnancy related at this point, but in any case I asked because I found my symptoms odd, as many of you did, as my father who is a doctor did. I know that there is a strange case for everything, so I was hoping to get insight from ppl who just so happened to share my experience. As the thread went on, I realised that it might not simply be pregnancy but another, potentially harmful, condition and I felt it was important that I track and share any symptoms or information I continued to receive past today. As the comments went on, however, I became very scared that something might be seriously wrong with my reproductive system and told my boyfriend that I needed to go to the hospital. He then suggested that I take the test. I took the test and got a positive result, and when I informed everyone that I was pregnant, not having a hernia, or reproductive issues, or dying, instead of congratulations I received more skepticism and even anger stemming from accusations of lying and mocking on a forum for mothers and women trying to get pregnant. I thought posting photos would prove that I did not, and would never, set out to hurt ppl in this way, that my concerns were real and my situation was genuine. If I have somehow hurt you, I sincerely apologise and I wish you the absolute best.
Aw I really was trying to be nice. This post just got so weird....
I am concerned if you don't have resources to go to the doctor for obvious signs of an infection, but you are actively ttc a baby. A foul odor, intense pain, and protrusion... you are both pregnant and have an infection. You need to get into a clinic for the sake of your baby. So not joking.
Someone... anyone... please explain to me why so many of us on here who are happily married, financially secure, and so ready for children have a harder time getting pregnant than these posters who get KU after one day of trying with their boyfriend? Why?? Life is so not fair.
Going now to toss snow balls for my doggie. She is loving this snow day! Good bye AnitaBanita!
You said your womb is swollen. You said you have a fist sized protrusion.
If you had said any rendition of "my tummy is bloated" then it would be totally different. You made it sound like something from Rosemary's Baby.
Even so, the smell and intense pain (where you thought about going to the ER) are not normal. Since you just had an IUD removed, I would get it checked. Or not. That is up to you. Do what you want, I think everyone is tired of this question.
Why didn't you take the test before asking random people online? You could have answered your own question and it would have saved us from responding to this ridiculous post.
I meant to imply that I'm not insulting you all when I say some of you should seek therapy. I didn't want to risk offending someone again, so I included that I have used therapy in the past to overcome my trauma. Anyway, I really need to get off of this website ..but it's so hard now!!
So you came barging into this community of which you had no intention of being a part, rattled off bizarre symptoms, got a positive test (which I don't totally believe, btw, suggested we need therapy, and then peaced out, and you're kicking dirt because we didn't squee over your bfp? Good luck and all that.
Ok, now I'm offended. So, if anyone out there has experienced trauma, TRIGGER WARNING.
I encountered an acquaintance on the street outside of his apartment and was invited up. We went upstairs to his apartment which turned out to be a studio with not much else than a mattress. Picking up on this, I said I had to leave at which point he pressed me against the wall, kissing my face and neck and forcing his hands under my shirt. I said stop twice, he shoved me onto the mattress. He laid on me, so that I couldn't move. He was at least 6ft, I am 5'5. He took off my pants and underwear and undid his belt. I can't remember the rest of the act because I detached. At one point the top of my head was hanging off the mattress, due to thrusting I assume, and I saw two people talking and smiling in the building across the street through the window. I thought they were a couple and of how stark that contrast was, just before I was pulled back onto the bed. Afterwards, I said that I wasn't on birth control and he laughed and said I could get a 'coat-hanger abortion'. I think it was supposed to be a joke. I don't remember how I got home. I have flashbacks during intercourse sometimes. Not actual flashbacks, an uneasy feeling, sometimes I cry and lock up and detach again.
I'm going back to my boyfriend and my son now to celebrate the happiness that I have found since that time, and the additional happiness that will come with our second child.
Thanks again to the kind. The rest of you, seek help.
I really hate when the crazy posts end with "Oh and I have been abused". Because then it's like, is someone really horrible enough to make that shit up to try to win a fake argument? I hope not. But then the alternative is the first post is legit and people are really this ridiculous and that's scary too. Because, holy crap on a cracker.
I'm going to repost my question for those who share my really REALLY early symptoms, so they don't have to scroll through all of the hate:
So, my boyfriend and I started trying to get pregnant February 3rd. On Febuary 8th I started experiencing nausea. I thought I simply hadn't eaten enough or had enough to drink, but when the symptoms returned the next day and the next day I realized my nausea resembled morning sickness. I've also been more fatigued than usual. I'll pretty much fall asleep if I lay down for just a second. I've slept an average of three hours a night since I can remember, so that's very unusual. But my really big concern is that a couple of days ago I was experiencing terrible pain in my lower abdomen that sharpened on the right side throughout that day, half of the night was spent debating whether it could be appendicitis and I should go to the hospital. The next day it was gone and my lower abdomen was visibly swollen - I literally looked pregnant. Today I noticed an unusual vaginal odor. Is it possible to experience these symptoms so early? Could something be wrong? Has anyone else had a similar experience?
And the answer is YES, I'm pregnant. So you could be too. My most notable symptoms were a swelling around my pelvis and pain a sharp pain at implantation. The other symptoms are most likely related to my pregnancy as well, but I think those symptoms are more difficult to distinguish as pregnancy symptoms vs other hormonal changes, such as those due to ovulation or changes in birth control. There are photos of the swelling, as well as a positive test result somewhere in all of this, if you are curious enough to search. I included a photo with this thread in the background to maintain a level of honesty, and as you can see the result is very faint so it's not as if I've been pregnant for a long time and I am lying about my conception date. Sorry, if all of this justification seems weird, but if you look through the thread you'll see that I have been forced to justify myself like this all day. If you are experiencing early symptoms, you understand what I am talking about. Good luck!
Wow is all I can about this thread. Seriously OP, you are offended by women telling you to learn about your body, claim you are "totes KTFU", and then because someone didn't congratulate you on the pregnancy, you tell a story about abuse?
Do you live in Brooklyn and graduate from an Ivy League school by chance?

You guys are completely insane. And there is no point arguing with insanity..

Did you quote yourself so you could be the poster child for crazy? You make yourself sound weirder with every post.

Yes because our brand of insanity shared a (I'm hoping) false story of abuse with millions of internet strangers on their first time meeting them. While I acknowledge it could be true the people I know I real life wouldn't be pulling out their stories to gain sympathy on an Internet forum of strangers. It is painful to tell those stories and they wouldn't want an internet record of it.

I really hate to rain on your parade here, but you weren't having pregnancy symptoms five days after you ovulated. Nausea, cramping and fatigue that early on are caused by an increase in progesterone that occurs after ovulation regardless if you're successfully conceived or not. For every 10 women who have the exact same symptoms at the exact same time only 2 will actually be pregnant.
I don't think you're pregnant, just delusional. You should ask your dad for help with that one. Also, if that IS your stomach in the picture, you just ate too much pizza...OR you're having sextuplets. Congrats!

Great news, you guys. Well..lesser great news than being pregnant but.. IM JOINING THE BOARD! Since I'm pregnant, I figure I should be vigilant about posting at least once a day or so for the foreseeable future at the very least

If the fake pregnancy pics didn't do it, this is how I know this is MUD.

Update: In the middle of class today, I got lightheaded and had blurred vision. I must've looked pretty bad too because my prof came over and asked me if I was alright before I was instructed to go down to the cafe and eat some food. A little scary - a little funny tho, too; I was in a figure drawing class, so I must've been staring down my poor model all cross-eyed and drooling lol - I'm planning to make an appointment with a midwife tmrw morning and hopefully get some bloodwork done soon. Fingers crossed
