Just a quick question

I am 28 weeks pregnant and my soon to be son has a birth defect gastroschisis, where pre term labor is very common and a lot of the time expected. For The past day I have felt so much pressure in my lower stomach and some low back aches. Just constant. Not really a specific timing or anything. Just happens a lot during the day.

In my first pregnancy, my water broke and when I got to the hospital my contractions started right away but I seriously can not remember if this lower back pain and low stomach pressure was going on back then.

Just seeing if anyone else had this pressure or aches. Tia!

I would call your OB. You're high risk and low back pain can be a sign of labor. At 28 weeks if you are in early labor you want to give them plenty of time to either stop it or get 2 doses of steroids in to help your baby's lungs. There's never any harm in calling, but there can be plenty of guilt later if you don't. Call now!
