Confession: This post terrifies me. I was really busy back when it started so I missed out on the first few pages, and now I know I'd be overwhelmed catching up! Maybe I'll do it next week when I'm on spring break. I'm sure I've missed out on some great posts.

I agree, I was just thinking that. My friend had her baby last night and her due date was originally only 10 weeks away from mine. Now I'm freaking out because we could have a baby in 2 months and definitely right around 3. Yikes!!!!

I had a dream where I went into labor and was having the baby. A few random weird things... 

-Apparently I went into labor at Disney World. 

-I went back to my house (12 hours away??) and then my water broke on my bathroom rug and it was bright blue(??!)

-I finally got to the hospital and my room didn't have a bathroom. I had to walk down several hallways to get to a bathroom every time I wanted to go, but there was a men's room right outside my hospital room. And I asked for a new nurse. 

I got to thinking the last few days that maybe I don't want another c-section... But, I know that if I don't go into labor on my own before my RCS, I will end up just going with it because I will be ready to be done.

ETA: You were a size 10/12 pre preg right? Just want to make sure you aren't sizing up for maternity, whenever I do that the outfit is gigantic.

LOL, well so much for me keeping up to date, looks like it should have been pretty obvious what was going on. I was so confused, too. Braining is hard this early.

Funny story.

I have really bad allergies and have taken to having a sneezing fit during breakfast.

Every morning my dog sits by me and waits to see if I drop anything.

Apparently he's sick of getting food accidentally sneezed on him and has now learned to back up when he knows its coming. Lol

In your case, I'd probably just go by myself.  The main thing that DH got from the breastfeeding class we attended was that he needed to be supportive (duh, he knew that already).  I think he liked knowing more in-depth details though.  I appreciated being able to tell him (and have him understand) that nothing got cleaned in the house on a particular day because DD was going through a cluster feeding, haha.

I finally watched the finally of How I Met Your Mother last night.  Talk about a let down.  Not only does the Mother die, but then he ends back up with Robin.  Ugh, I doubt they could have ended it that would have made everyone happy but killing off the Mother, come on.

I finally made an appointment to get my hair done!  I've been ready for something new for awhile and just hadn't gotten around to calling.  Next Thursday, I'm turning it over to my stylist and letting her do whatever she wants.  I don't even care anymore, I just want something different.

I've been having a lot of contractions and yesterday my doctor told me to drink more water, because clearly that is the answer to everything.  I'm up to 60oz already today and have already lost count of bathroom trips.  I need to move my desk to the bathroom.

I have the same problem!  HDBD always throws me off because I'm always thinking, wait, that's what you look like IRL?  Not in a bad way for anyone or anything, just not what I picture.  I either see them as their avatar or something in the siggy.

Also, that picture of DS is probably pushing a year old at this point, but I just love the face he's making in it.  I can't bring myself to change it.

I feel like the Goldilocks of daycare. The first one we looked at was too big, the babysitter's place was too small, and the one I saw yesterday was just right. (Oh, and did I mention it's affordable, literally ON my way to work and 3 min from my house?). Except they are already on a waiting list...cue ugly crying when I got in the car. 

One good thing about living where I do is that there are a lot of options...but I want THAT one. Right away I was trying to think of ways to get us bumped higher on the list...offer to do free music classes with the preschoolers over the summer? Obviously that would be wrong and probably wouldn't work, and I was a little ashamed that that was where my brain went right away. So now it's time for exploring other options, crossing fingers, and hoping for the best...ugh this sucks balls.

I get really tired about the water advice. It's like no, it hasn't helped my RLP at all. All it does is give me more RLP because I have to get up to use the bathroom 5 extra times a day.

I have a happy thing and a sad thing:

One of my closest friends had her baby yesterday! He is absolutely adorable with a full head of hair, a little fauhawk already, too cute. Home girl was texting me all throughout labor and she had him late last night after about 20 hours of labor. I'm really excited for her and her husband!

Warning: Complications of labor/birth mentioned --- 

At nearly the exact same time table that she was in labor, my brother's girlfriend's sister (did you follow that? It's not as disconnected as it sounds) was in labor and gave birth to their little girl. Unfortunately the baby was cut off from oxygen and they had to resuscitate her when she was born. Apparently they had no idea that the baby was deprived from oxygen while they were trying to deliver her, which I don't still understand. The baby is in the NICU and they are waiting to hear what is going on. Apparently they do not know if she will suffer any long term brain damage as a result. My hear is broken for them and I hope that the little girl is OK. I can't imagine going through that.

Extra good vibes headed down my way to NC please!

Can you not go ahead and get on the waiting list and find an alternative until you get to the top?  That's what we ended up having to do with DS.  He didn't get into our top choice until right at his first birthday, but it's where he'll be until he goes to school and now our next one will start there from the beginning.

Oh yeah we're definitely on the list, and I'm looking at alternatives. I found one that has fantastic reviews and looks to be what we want (small, they only have 2 rooms and max like 26 kids). It's out of the way and expensive, but I have high hopes. I'm waiting for them to send me their literature and then I'll schedule a tour.
