I've been reveling (okay that's a bit of an exaggeration) in the fact that I have remained stretch mark free on my belly this pregnancy (hey, it's a total win..stretch marks are not nice, I have them elsewhere)....

    Well, karma is a bbbbbb....

Okay it's not that bad but I managed to burn my belly with my curling iron. It left a gnarly mark across the front that will probably scar.

At least I can explain stretch marks with a straight face.... how will I explain this burn without feeling the shame **facepalm***

Lesson--Never do your hair in a sports bra while pregnant. Cover that isht up! Naked bumps are asking for trouble hahah.

If it makes you feel better, it will likely fade. I set a straightening iron down on my leg once and had a scar for about a year or two, but now I can't see it. Get some vitamin E oil too. That'll help.

  • They declared they were closing the office on Thursday and just giving us an extra day off with pay. That's pretty awesome. Except I am pretty sure as support staff my team will have to have at least one person here. I'm the most likely candidate. Blah. (Then I will just take the day later in the year). So it works out - sort of.

  • Just found out I am GBS+ and I definitely started crying in my MW's office. Talk about an overreaction. I'm such a weepy mess these days, everything makes me cry. I had a super quick labor/delivery with DS and I am nervous I won't have enough time before the baby is born to get the antibiotics.

AW/SS/W/E the hell, I'm telling everyone:

I changed my mind about LittleDude's coming home outfit. DH saw this one at the store yesterday and commented that it was cute so OF COURSE I ran out today and bought it. How often is a dude going to comment on baby clothes?!

So then I saw this one and OF COURSE HAD TO BUY THAT TOO.

My name is Kelly and I am addicted to buying baby clothes. For real though, I had 3 showers and waited all of that time for everyone else to buy stuff for LD, holding back what I had wanted. Now that those are done, I am off the leash and I'm on Mat leave with too much time on my hands. Really, DH shouldn't be surprised. Ahem. :-D

WHERE is the fox outfit from?!

@litera I have the fox one in 3 months, and this wolf set similar to your raccoon one in 6 months. They are just the cutest, aren't they?!?
I was so tempted to buy the Wolf one as well! I absolutely love Carter's, they are so soft, wash awesomely and the patches on the butt.... ermahgerd. Kinda pricey and I feel like a dope buying in NB size when I'm not entirely sure how long he will be able to fit in them. I'll definitely go back in a few months when they are all clearance and stock up in the bigger sizes :X :X :X
Ahhh...the characters on the butt! Love love love!

I've found that Carter's tends to run truer to size as well, so easy to justify bc they're cute and practical!! Gerber runs crazy small for some reason.

Alex has arrived! 9 pounds, 21 inches - 3 weeks early on March 2nd ~went natural - very intense. whew!~

Seriously, SO cute! Where were these when I had my boys!? I'm such a brat --- as soon as I find out I'm finally having a girl, I start falling in love with all of the adorable boy clothes out there.

37 weeks today. Past couple days all I have wanted to do is sleep, pee, eat, thow up. My head is pounding & my feet & joints hurt so bad. :( this heat is making me miserable. 90's here. I don't know you girls are living in hotter weather/ still working in it do this. We are almost there. ALMOST!
  • My labs all came back okay yesterday so it looks like were inducing or having a cs Friday, which is 37 weeks per my OB. (The office that does my sonos uses a different due date so sometimes I say Im already 37, but the OB is the one that counts). So Im stuck at the hospital for the duration I guess. And DH was adament he didnt want to share a birthday with LO (his is 7-23) and it turns out I might instead (mine is 7-5)
  • Good luck @amlonica!

  • Why are the contractions and general pains so much worse at night??? I'm not one to complain too much about pregnancy, but damn...the last few nights have sucked.

My exact thoughts! When i get up in the middle of the night half the time its to pee the other half is from contractions or leg cramps that i hardly feel during the day.. weird

  • Does anyone want to do a July Siggy Change?  We didn't vote for June's, it probably would have been a flop like May's was.  Adorable baby GIFS?  Baby and animal GIFS?
