Got cravings?

This is my first time going through all of this & I always thought (and still am not sure about this) that cravings were kinda full of crap! However, I am on an orange/orange juice kick for about 3 weeks straight. If it's not in my fridge, I freak out. I'm drinking OJ twice a day at least, and now I started eating oranges on top of that. I finally believe in the power of the craving!! Plus, I've read myths that craving fruit means it's a boy. Again, not sure what to believe ever. What are you ladies craving????

  • Orange juice for me lately too, and soft pretzels! I didn't have much fruit when I was pregnant for DS.

  • I'm craving pizza this time. And overall my cravings seem stronger than they were in my first pregnancy.  I wouldn't read into your cravings to try to determine if you're having a boy or girl.  That stuff is coincidental, IMO.

  • I can't get nachos off my mind. DH and I made some for Super Bowl and I've wanted them again ever since. My coworker and I are going to get some for lunch today, yay!

  • Mostly the stuff I haven't eaten in years--fast food, sweets, pop. I have let myself have some Taco Bell and some sweets. But I need to draw the line somewhere, so I'm not letting myself have pop. Except Vernors (for my upset tummy).

  • French fries!!! Gotta have them....any style. Oh and thin crust pizza. :D I really don't eat these kinds of food since I've changed my ways of eating over 2years ago. But I just can't resist...oh the temptation! :P
  • Liquid cheese tends to top my cravings these days.  Totally unhealthy, so I'm trying to not give in so often.  Also pickles, as cliche as it sounds.  An ice cold watermelon sounds fantastic right now.  Let me go text DH to bring one home! :)

  • I've noticed that I go through "kicks" too. I would say if there is anything I seem to be obsessed with having around the house, or when we go out, is Root Beer.

    Also cheese, meat and eggs - which I loved before I got pregnant, so I'm not sure if that really counts or not. :)

    I have noticed I have a much bigger sweet tooth though than I did before. I never liked sweets except the occasional donut or piece of cheesecake. Now I would like daily donuts and cheesecake for breakfast, lunch and dinner. :D

     

     

     

  • I am craving raw veggies, like what you would have on a sub. I had a sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub last week and it was awesome. I made them nuke the chicken first and then still had them toast it to make sure the chicken was thoroughly heated through. I usually want the pickles, olives and banana peppers too, but opted to leave them. It was an amazing sub. Will definitely get one again soon.

  • What I want to eat seems to change hourly.  It's been hell for grocery shopping.  I think I want something, buy it and then it just sits there or DH eats it.  I bought two Entenmann's cakes in the past two weeks that I only had a small piece of.  I made chocolate chip muffins yesterday and then didn't want them.

  • McDonalds Chicken Nuggets. I am 30 and I haven't had one since I was 15 or 16, until last week that is. I'm not sure why that's all I want to eat now. So disgustingly delicious. I don't get it. And tonight I wanted them with Taco Bell fire sauce. I have no idea what is going on right now.

    I own a bakery but all I want in my life right now is a Duncan Hines carrot cake...not my carrot cake, a store bought box. Wtf?! I haven't had boxed cake in like 10 years!!
