Hello Ladies!! I hope I can join your group!

I've been waiting, because like many before me I'm afraid of jinxing things! I got my BFP from my Jan IVF cycle, Beta 1 was 200 something, Beta 2 was 700 something, beta 3 3429, beta 4 was 11000 something. My first U/S is 2/18. While we are really excited, I'm also very nervous (as I think we all are), because I've had it all go wrong before--but trying not to think about that now.

Already with my first question: Did you/Do you ladies have cramps in these first few weeks (I'm 3 weeks)? Mine feel just like period cramps and I actually check several times a day. So annoying!

Congrats! I had a lot of cramping (and spotting, scary combination) for the first few weeks. But all was well and I'm now 29 weeks!

Hi and welcome. I too just came over to this board and have my ultrasound a week after you!! I too have been having little twinges of cramps but mostly in the evening and during the day none really. Kinda feels weird but I'll take any feeling I can get in there!

Hi! Congrats and welcome! Yes, I had cramps for the first few weeks- I really felt like AF was going to rear her ugly head and it made me crazy. Totally normal! My OB said it was fine unless they were "severe" or to call if there was bleeding (but spotting would be normal)... Not always reassuring!

Welcome and congrats! Cramps are my biggest symptom and totally normal. As long as you aren't doubling over in pain then there is no need to worry, your ute is gearing up for some serious growing!!!

Congratulations!

I have had a lot of abdominal cramps since becoming pregnant - and yes, they feel like my period at times. My OB said that as long as I didn't have bleeding they were normal - that they were either my uterus stretching and some women are just more sensitive to that than others or it could be constipation. About a week ago I actually figured out that some of my cramps are related to gas - I was having bad cramps every afternoon at work and it was because I wasn't letting my gas out at work (sorry, TMI!), but so glad I figured it out! I hope you start feeling better soon.

Congrats and welcome! And yes I've had some mild cramping that feels a lot like period cramping - especially right around the time of getting the BFP.
