Just left L&D update

This morning on the way into work I slipped and fell in the parking lot. I landed on my side and hurt my pride more than my body. So I went on with my day (it's the 100th day of school afer all) and my hip started to hurt-bad. I hadn't felt baby girl kick all morning which isn't unusual, I have an anterior placenta and she's pretty lazy in the morning. I decided to call my ob on my lunch break and they said I should go into labor and delivery ASAP. Awesome. Not what I expected at all and totally almost had a panic attack. My principal covered my class, I was a giant wreck and I drove to the hospital. Anyway, they put me on a monitor for an hour and her hb sounds fine but they are more worried about the placenta. I will go in tomorrow for a sono. I am home relaxing and trying not to worry... Thanks for letting me tell my story and send some thoughts and prayers for tomorrow if you can please ...

Also, BE CAREFUL ON THE ICE!!

*update* had my sono today after they finally called me back. Everything looks great, SUCH a relief! We even got a few more pictures of her! Her head is down low with her feet above her head and her hands holding her feet. Her butt is way up high! And her face doesn't look like a skeleton like it did at the anatomy scan! I'm feeling so much better! Thanks everyone for your thoughts, prayers and support!!

Thanks all! @sarahjanisse I'm 26 weeks. And yeah, I'm sure my class was confused that all of a sudden after lunch I was gone... I missed making our awesome 100 day hats too! :-(

Thanks everyone. It's 5:00 and they haven't called me back to schedule it yet so I'm kind of annoyed. My doctor told the er to have me call and set up an appointment for tomorrow but didn't tell the office I'd be calling I guess? They said they have to wait for her to call back and put in the request. I don't understand why she didn't do that when she told me to call?? I have my glucose test tomorrow morning so hopefully they call in the morning and are able to get me in after my glucose is over. Tomorrow is going to be a LONG day....

I know your frustration. I fell down my front steps and got sent to l&d too. They didn't do an sono but told me that they are padded and that they will be fine. Hope you get good news too.
