NWMR: TTC and pregnancy tests

I got pregnant with both of my kids without actively trying so now that I am TTC #3 I'm debating when to take a pregnancy test. I know that obviously the longer you wait the more accurate the test results, etc. But I can't wait to find out lol. But I am also cheap and don't want to waste money on testing too early. So I'm just curious, how long did your wait to take a HPT?

Yes I know when I ovulated and I usually get my period 12 days past ovulation.

I bought a bunch of cheap tests from Amazon. I think it was like 30 test for $15.  Then you can take them all you want and not feel bad!

I used dollar store tests. Then when I got a faint line on them used the real expensive ones to confirm.

I tested 11 DPO with DD and got a pretty clear positive.  How many DPO are you?

I forced myself to wait until the day after I expected my period.

10 DPO, they say. Dollar Tree Tests haven't failed me yet! I like them better than the more expensive one I had to buy the time we were out of town when I realized I might be pregnant.

When we were TTC #2, I got the cheapo strips from Amazon and got a super faint line at 9DPO.  DH wasn't sure he believed me so I tested the next morning with a digital and I was right.    There are also cheapo ovulation strips on Amazon that are the same brand.

I took a bunch of tests early with the one I'm PG with now because I just knew I was pregnant.  I finally got a super super faint line at 11 days, a darker but still faint line at 12 days and then I confirmed with a digital.  I also used dollar store tests before the digital.

I got a faint line at 9 dpo and confirmed the next morning. I'd test right this minute and then come back and show us a hpt pic! ;-)

I used cheapies (wondfo's) at 8 dpo, 9 dpo, and 10 dpo.... all were negative.  I used a FRER on 10 dpo as well and got a +.
