14weeks prego after FET and hubby says he is unhappy

This situation is like out of a bad soap opera. My husband of almost 5 years (together a total of 8, and ttc for 3 1/2) recently came to me and said that he doesnt think he is in love with me. And that he has an emotional relationship with another woman... and this emotional relationship began the weekend when i had vaginal bleeding and was in the er. as well as money issues, job issues, lack of work issues, and the realization that a baby is on the way. He says he has no idea why he feels this way. but he does.... i think he is scared about the commitment we have now on the way. But its hard for me to get past him emotionally cheating me while I am pregnant with his baby. I dont know what to do. His family is furious with him and wants nothing to do with him for the way he is acting. They think I should put his stuff on the porch and kick him out... this is just so confusing.....

I am so sorry that you are going through this now. I don't have any personal experience, but my first thought is couples counseling. Also, if it was me he would have to cut all ties with this other woman for us to even have a shot. Wishing you the very best with everything. (((Hugs)))

Wow, I am so sorry! This is terrible I agree that couples counseling is absolutely needed immediately. Also, I'm in the same boat as dragonfly, he needs to cut ties with this woman completely. ((Hugs)) I really hope you and YH can work this out.

omg this is so awful! Huge hugs to you! This is the time you need support the most not for your world to be tipped upside down. It seems more like he needs counseling for himself to work out his own issues rather than seeking this other woman to speak of his concerns. Hoping this isn't someone he works with so he'll be able to avoid them I wish you the best of luck! I'm so sorry hope he smarts up and comes around!

I seriously recommend counseling. You mention money problems, so perhaps your place of employment has a referral service (my last two employers did for 12 free sessions) or if you are religious, a clergy person might be helpful.

He needs to own up to what happened and want to change. I'm so sorry you are going through this after struggling with IF.

Aye I'm really sorry. It's never good timing for this sort of stuff but this is is just horrible with a baby on the way. I agree with the others he needs to cut the other women off completely and until he schedules a counseling session I personally wouldn't be willing to talk to him. I feel like when it comes to men sometimes things only sink in when someone else gives them an outsiders persepective. I am of course not as nice, I would of just thrown his @hit out of the house but again that is my childish side. Hence why counesling is the best bet. I hope things work out.

Very sorry to hear you're going through such a painful time in what is supposed to be a joyous time.  I agree with the other ladies in the chat. He must completely sever all ties with the woman and couple's counseling is key.  If he isn't receptive and committed to those things in actions not just words, then I feel you have a decision to make. I hope things get better soon.
