So... I went out and bought more pregnancy tests this weekend. I have a problem. *hangs head in shame*
My IF/AL brain will not let me believe that I could possibly be this lucky.
I took a ClearBlue Weeks Estimator yesterday at 5w3d and it said "Pregnant - 2-3 weeks". Same thing again today. I know hcg levels vary quite a bit and I need to step away from the pee sticks. My ultrasound is on Friday and I am so scared that something will be wrong. I start to cry whenever I think about it.
Sorry for the pointless and less than cheerful post. I just needed to get that out and I figured you ladies would understand.

Step away from the pee sticks! Those things will only drive you crazy between now and Friday!
Friday will be here before you know it, I know it's hard to not let those feelings take over but for today you are pregnant. Hang in there!

We have all been there in some shape or form. Don't beat yourself up about those thoughts, but keep trying to think positively and remember that you are another step closer!!
I would definitely stop POAS! It will only mess with your head. Just remember that you are pregnant and keep focusing on that wonderful thought. I know it's hard, especially in the beginning! Good luck on Friday, and remember the odds are good that everything is fine!
5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.
Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN. After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.
August 16, 2013: BFP our first month of "not trying!" Still in shock. Beta #1 (14dpo): 183. Beta #2 (17dpo): 611. Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm! Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176! Baby is due 4/26/14
The 3+ doesn't kick in until your beta is around 2700 -- which for many ladies doesn't actually happen right at the beginning of week 5 (3 weeks post conception). I remember when I tested at 5 weeks exactly I still got the 2-3 weeks reading. I had a beta that day and it turned out to be ~2300. Try not to worry.
I hate those weeks estimators...I think they just cause more worry than they are worth. I kept testing with pink dye tests during my betas and had a total meltdown in between beta 1 and 2 because I didn't feel the lines were getting any darker...my beta tripled. I had one test left that I used the week between the beta and the first u/s and it also didn't seem much darker and that is when I finally walked away from the pee sticks. It will be okay. You want to avoid the extra stress these tests are giving you! Just keep telling myself, "today I am pregnant." Friday will be here before you know it.

Yes, step away from the pee sticks. Easier said than done, I know. Not only does it take awhile to change the weeks on those things, but they're based on urine, not blood - so the concentration could actually be lower in your urine one day than the next, causing you to stress and panic - which isn't good for someone who's trying to let babies stick. Just relax, have a cup of hot chocolate, and read a non-PG related book. Or watch Galaxy Quest, that movie is so hilarious it can get my mind off of anything.

I'm back from my ultrasound, and all she saw was an empty gestational sac. I am going back Tuesday for a follow-up but I know it's over. My body just hasn't figured it out yet, I guess.
Thank you all for your support these last few weeks. I know I haven't been the most active poster here, I've kind of been in limbo waiting to see if this one was going to stick. I hope to be back here for a longer stay soon.
