Baby #3

Hello all! It's been awhile since I've posted, almost 2 years! My husband and I are thinking about baby number 3 and, of course, baby names are at the top of my list! So far my top girls name is Annabel Louise (Annabel after my great-great-aunt who died as a child and Louise after my great-grandmother who was baby Annie's big sister...she always talked about Annie and I would love to honor her memory, and my Nanny was my hero...her name was Ella Louise and she died when my son was 2). My top boys name is Bennett Edward, but my husband thinks Bennett is a girls name. Any ideas? My other children are Blaine Christopher (Blaine is a very, very old family name and Christopher is my husband's name) and Hallie Elisabeth (family names all around...Elisabeth is after great-grandmothers on both sides, Elizabeth x 2, and my mother, Lisa). Can't wait to see your recommendations!

You have nice choices. I'm not wild about Annabel but it's a fine name, especially since it is significant to you. Louise is our mn for a girl and oddly Edward is our mn for a boy! Bennett Edward is on our long list. And Bennett is not a girls name, at all.

I don't feel like I can get a firm grasp on your style, but since our mn choices are the same here are some names I like:

I don't love Bennet either, but it is fine. I guess it seems kind of young to me....doesn't age well IMO. Have you considered Ben, Benedict , Benard, Benjamine.Benson

Thanks everyone! I love love love your suggestions! Many of them have been or are on my long list. My husband isn't as in to traditional names as I am, so I have to kind of "meet in the middle" on that....which gets some of these absolutely gorgeous names booted from my list. Makes me sad. He went to school with a girl named Bennett, and oddly enough there are a few around here...but I do NOT see the appeal as a girls name AT ALL! I love the name Henry, and my great-grandmother was named Henry Clay...I may push to add that one back to the list!
