I have just starting staying home with DD, who is 23 months and extremely active, on Mondays and Fridays. I find that as the pregnancy progresses, it's harder for me to keep up! By the end of the day, when DH comes home and I can finally go to the gym for 30 minon the elliptical, I am spent. However, I know it's so important to keep exercising a couple of times a week, at least - especially since I'm planning a NB. As tiring as it is managing a toddler, I don't think I can really call it "exercise". Anyone get guidance from their OB or MW on when to push on and when to chill? I'll ask when I go next but it's not for a bit.
Re: Any guidance on balancing exercise and third-tri exhaustion?
If I hurt or feel off in anyway I don't exercise. My MWs have said listening to your body is the best way to know if you are pushing yourself too hard.
