Finally moved!

So we finally moved into our new house last week. DS satyed with my mom for a week while DH and I got the house settled. Friday afternoon I brought DS home for the first time. I knew for sure he would just run around the house crazy since it's bigger and a much more open floor plan. However, as soon as he walked in, DS walked straight to the fridge and grabbed a snack. When I asked him if he liked his new house, he said yes and asked for milk.

I guess DS is more interested in food than the new house:)

Congrats on the new house!!  Glad it's been a smooth transition for him!  Hope it continues to be!  We moved this past summer and was worried about how DD would do...  She just loved running around the new house and settled in perfectly.  

Ashamed to say we are still not fully unpacked/settled.  I'm hoping this third tri nesting instinct kicks in soon and I can get it done before LO#2.....LOL

Congrats! That's too funny that your DS only wanted to eat at first. We also moved at the end of August last year. There's still some boxes unpacked over here too. The kids still run around the house until I tell them to take it upstairs. GL to you both!

Thanks ladies, I am pretty sure we will still have things in boxes for several months, I am just hoping DS makes room for them in the garage.
