Royal Jelly for better egg quality?

Hi Ladies~

My IVF was cancelled due to premature luteinization, and so we froze the fertilized eggs. Out of 9 retrieved, 7 fertilized, 5 stopped growing after day 4, and 2 blastocysts were PGD'ed and were abnormal. No IF problems otherwise, and so my RE says I have poor egg quality due to my age- 38. I am wondering if anyone here heard or tried Royal Jelly supplements? I've been reading on what can I do to have better egg quality, and even though there isn't a whole lot, I read that Royal Jelly has been proven to increase egg quality in animals (sheep). It is the food of the Queen Bee (the only food she eats) and it is supposed to boost fertility and overall egg quality. I would appreciate any feedback! Other than that, my RE is increasing the menopur for our next cycle and using Lupron instead of Ovidrel for a trigger to "prevent" OHSS. Thank you all in advance! xo

My acupuncturist, who specializes in fertility, recommended I take Royal Jelly and L-Arginine for my eggs. At my follow-up to my failed IVF cycle, my RE recommended I start taking CoQ10 and DHEA to help with egg quality, too. My acupuncturist said it would take about 2 months of taking them for the supplements be effective.

I took Royal Jelly for a little while when doing IUIs.  Now that I am on a break I have been on Royal Jelly for over a month. We are back to trying on our own for a while until we do IVF 3.  I figure it can't hurt and I'm willing to try anything. I also stated taking COQ10 at the same time.

My RE suggested I take 600 mg of Co Q-10 daily to improve egg quality.  Good luck!
