Baseline ultrasound and an 11 follicle already?

Hi ladies! This morning was my baseline b/w and ultrasound for IVF #2. I should start stims tonight. During my last cycle, I didn't have any follies over 10 until 3 or 4 days of stims. I haven't even started stims yet and I already have an 11. Should I be concerned?

BFP #1: 1/4/13, EDD 9/8/13, Missed M/C confirmed 2/8/13, Misoprostol

2013: Three CPs w/ EDDs: EDD 2/10/14, EDD 3/24/14, EDD 6/24/14

IVF/ICSI #1 (Antagonist) - Jan 2014- 19R, 14M, 11F, 3 penguins (6BB, 4BB, 6BC)  PGD tested- All Normal!

IVF/ICSI #2 (Antagonist) - Feb 2014 - 23R, 11M, 10F, 1 penguin (3BB) - Another Normal!

FET #1 - March 26, BFN

FET #2- Beta #1 (9dp5dt) -332, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) -1027, EDD 1/30/2015, Missed M/C, D&C 6/19/14

IVF/ICSI #3 (Lupron Down Reg) - Oct 2014 - 38R, 28M, 27F, 20 frozen on day 5, 16 normal penguins!!

FET#3 - February 1, 2015, Prep begins 1/13

    It might be a cyst. I had a 12mm at baseline for an IUI but they saw that it was growing. If it is a cyst then you might be cancelled and put on BCPs. FX you find out soon.

    I don't understand how these nurses and doctors can read the fuzz on the ultrasounds, but from what I've seen cysts look just like follies. Are they sure this wasn't a cyst? Agree that it doesn't sound right to have an 11 at baseline.

I made it through without crashing!! :) Hats off to Dr. Fancypants!! ET of one 5AB blast. BFN. 13 10 CCS'ed snowflakes! FET #1 PUPO as of 7/29 Betas: 8/7@24, 8/9@97, 8/11@334 (etc.) Two sacs on 8/15, one seen on 8/18 after a bleed. U/s 8/25 (6+3) "perfect": 5.9 mm + HB@120bpm! U/s 9/4 (7+6): 15.9 mm + HB@172 bpm!     cysts are bigger than follicles
    I just had a 2cm cyst aspirated, that equates to 20mm which is what they want your follicles to be at when the do ER
    Me 39, DH 40
    Male Factor (severe oligospermia) 
    IVF#1-December 2013: Conversion Protocol @ SIRM, Canceled on day 10 of stims due to poor response
    IVF#2- February 2014:  Estrogen Priming Conversion Protocol @ SIRM (ER 2/22: (9R, 7M, 4F, All arrested, nothing to trasnfer)
    IUI#1-May 28, 2014- 100mg clomid, HCG Trigger, 100mg progesterone oral--BFN
    IUI#2-June 24, 2014- non medicated, HCG 2,500mg x 4 doses (over a week), Endometrium- BFN
    Suprise BFP- September 1, 2014- miscarriage at 5 weeks.

    and you always have follicles. They were showing me my follicles at my baseline and said it boded well for my cycle that I had a lot to start with.

    Every big cyst must start out small! I don't remember exactly what the one I had last summer was at baseline, but I think it was in the 10-15 mm range. I had to do three weeks of BCP to get rid of i.

    I've had a what looked like a follicle at baseline turn out to be a cyst as well.  They gave me the option of going on bcp's for a week and rechecking, or just waiting for another natural cycle.  I hate bcps, so I just waited.  Your b/w will give them more info as well.

    Anniversary

    TTC since 2008
    Dh:34, no issues.  Me:31, Endo, slightly hypothyroid, deformed ovary, paracentric inversion.
    4 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone +TI cycles= all BFN
    Lap in 2012 to remove large unresolving cyst discovered endo and double lobed ovary.
     6 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone IUI cycles= All BFN,
    1st IVF w/ICSI- June '13 Antagonist: Gonal-F, Menopur, Ganirelix, HcG, Estradiol, Crinone= 7 retrieved, 4 mature, 1 unfertilized, 2 abnormally fertilized, 1 normally fertilized.  2DT of only embryo and our miracle BFP.
    Our beloved baby boy was born sleeping Oct. 13, 2013 due to pROM/IC/Uterine infection.
    2nd IVF w/ICSI- Feb. '14 EPP/lupron/antagonist: Estrace, lupron, HGH, Gonal-F, Menopur, HcG, PIO, lovenox, doxy/dex.=21 retrieved, 16 mature, 15 fertilized!!  5dt of 1 blast/ 6 frozen. BFP!  Beta 1 9dp5dt:83.9  Beta 2: 11dp5dt: 145.2  Beta 3  14dp5dt: 497  Please be our sticky rainbow baby!

    Glad to hear you are not being delayed. They told me cysts won't produce estrogen so I guess your levels were high enough to show it was growing. They will let that one go during your cycle because it is so much bigger. Good luck!
