Wow. Who gets THAT offended when someone thinks they're annoying?
@justabean2 This is the internet, not everyone is going to get along. If you think being called annoying is so hateful, maybe it's time to back away.

This thread has made one thing clear to me. I have a bump crush on @RoosterWrangler. ">

Whoa this took an interesting turn since I checked it earlier. How many different topics can we fit into one thread?!
Bump vs baby, sex preference, gender vs sex... throw in some of those damn hormones, hurt feelings and a "u don't no my life" and we've got a Bump party!
@justabean Leaving aside everything else, you've mentioned the word 'hate' in the context of your body a lot in the few conversations I've noticed you in. It seems really close to the surface for you. I'm not a psychologist, but I play one on TV (not really), and I wonder if you wouldn't benefit from a little bit of counseling about those issues.
As someone who dealt with a mom who has a far amount of body issues/opinions on how she should look and by extension how I should look, and went through a lot to get to the other side, having a mom with body issues can be really hard on kids. And hard on kids relationships with the parent. I internalized a lot and definitely made some self-destructive choices, and it's left me with a lot of triggers around food. Trust me when I say you don't want that for your kids.
My mom and I have a good relationship now, but it took a really long time. I've been underweight and I've been overweight, which is where I am now, but now I don't hate my body. Are there things I work toward changing? Yes. I'd like to have more clothing options and not worry about the angles people take pictures from. But I would never say I hate my body. That seems like really strong language. That's just my 2 cents, take it or leave it.

Yowzers people. Leave the girl alone. Target is now on my back I suppose. Where is the love or at least respect? We are all mothers or moms to be. Let's show a good example.
This is my first and I'm new to the bump, however I think that we should all practice a little patience, understanding and tolerance. We should acknowledge that there are many different personalities in this forum and each comes from a unique background and moral pov. So please, you don't have to kiss, makeup and sing kumbaya, but at least have enough respect for each other to be civil and leave the hurtful, snarky, and inconsiderate comments at the door and try to be supportive of one another, no matter how much you might disagree. And if you cant bring yourself to do that, the please refrain from posting, for the sake of all the hormone driven and overly emotional mommies to be. Thanks for listening and I wish everyone a wonderful week.
@jalara48: I am in love with your "stalking" skills. Thank you for the find. Keep them honest!
@Ravenbaby: I see you're new here. Let me give you the short story: telling other grown women what to do on a public forum never (yes, never) works out well. As far as to answer your question "where is the respect?" we're pretty respectful around here. I've seen some of these boards get real nasty, real fast. This isn't happening here.
@twilightgrove: Just stop. Stop while you're ahead. First, I can post whatever -the fuck- I damn please... and I won't refrain. Honesty is cherished here. Puppies and rainbows, not cherished. Or in your case, when looking at your avatar... kittens and fairy wings? (Are you old enough to be on TB?)
What the crap is "honest" about what she posted? That picture was in the belly shots thread where it goes!! I didn't edit it or delete it be I wasn't trying to hide anything.
And as I said before... I woke up with the now determined bloat... What is so wrong with that?
Get off my case. Move on to someone else. Find something else better to do.

@justabean2 I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you honestly have no idea how you come across on the internet (and I'm leaving the clusterfuck of the Fourth Tri Project post alone, cause...Jesus). I think you'd really benefit from stepping back and taking a breather. I agree with @divinemsbee: you're projecting some really strange body-hate vibes, and I hope you get to a better place with that. We are absolutely allowed to be annoyed with you if we choose; that's how real life works. I mean, it's ridiculously eye-roll worthy that the person who reminds everyone that she is not a first time mom at every opportunity and who felt the need to post a 'What I know' thread is also the very first person to ask if her bloat is a baby bump. It's ironic and funny. You're coming on really strong and not everyone is going to love that. Own it and move on.
And don't throw out the 'we're all hormonal lol!' bullshit, ladies... I am not hormonal. I'm a grown woman who happens to be pregnant, and last I checked I was still a functioning part of society. The Bump isn't for everyone...no shame if Baby Gaga is more your speed.

Hostile much? How dare you attack me in such a manner. I've never done anything but try to keep the peace and you verbally birate me and attack me based on my avatar picture? I can see who the child behind the computer is here and its people like you that keep me from joining communities like this. I truly wish you could see how mean you have been. Its unfortunate that you never will.

What the fuck are you talking about? Who is attacking and verbally berating you? I have seen none of that in this thread. Also, unwarranted flagging can get you banned. You should unflag @kimberlymacrae's post. To do that all you have to do is love it, it will remove the flag, and then you can love it again to remove the love it if you don't agree with what she said. None of it was abusive, though.

Yeah, according to all of you I really don't have to do that. I found that post to be offensive and demeaning to myself as a person and I have every right to flag it. I mean that's what this is all about right ? Freedom of opinions. So I don't have to do anything. Thanks.
@twilightgrove No one is saying that you aren't allowed to have your own opinions. But I do think that flagging a post that wasn't abusive is a bit extreme. You were not attacked, I'm sorry that you feel that way.

You really need to calm down, you sound like a petulant child right now.

Really, we're name calling now? And you call me the child
No one called you a child. She said you SOUND like a child. And really, who can argue with that? Maybe it's time to back away from the internet if you're getting your panties in such a bunch over nothing.

I can see that you're immature and little thin-skinned so I am going to make a suggestion. Leave. TB isn't the place for your and October 2014 is not a good fit. Whatever contributions you plan on making are probably not needed. We'll be fine without you. I promise.
So, I'm publicly insulted multiple times by you people and I'm supposed to just smile and let you? I don't think so. I thoight this would be a supportive and uplifting place, but I can see now that its just a bunch of illmanered, peevish women who have to put others down to make themselves feel better. So I'm done with all of you and the Bump.
