Cough drops and sleep

Do you sleep with cough drops in your mouth when your sick? I do this all the time and just wonder if other do. Dh thinks I'm crazy and that I shouldn't for obvious choking reasons. It just helps, I love cepacol cough drops, they numb your mouth and throat.

I will start to fall asleep and then I startle myself thinking in gonna choke. LOL

I have before but I do worry about choking. Last time I tried I clamped down with my jaw all night and wound up with terrible jaw pain.

I'm against falling asleep with food in my mouth so it never occurred to me to leave a cough drop in there.

I just kinda keep my tongue against it on the top of my mouth. I've never had an issue:::knocks on wood::: but it helps so much. Now with kids I really don't want to risk it, I suppose I should stop. I feel 100 tonight, back, neck, throat and hips hurt... Um I'm 26

The last time I had a sore throat, I used Chloraseptic Max spray before bed. It worked pretty well.

I used to keep them in the bottom part of my cheeks. I don't do it anymore though.

I have fallen asleep with a cough drop in the past.  Typically I wake up with it stuck in my hair.  Sexy!
