Introduction

Hi!  My husband and I are seriously discussing ttc in May for our second child.  We have one son, Albert, who was born in August of 2012.

It's kind of funny that, even though I'm the one who was pushing for a second baby, now that we've pretty well decided to start trying I'm nervous about it.  I'm nervous that I won't be able to handle two kids.  I'm nervous that because my husband started a medication that could affect his fertility that we won't get pregnant.  I'm nervous about dropping my medicine.

But I'm excited, too.  We've had so much fun watching Albert grow and learn.  He's such a sweet boy and so independent.  We don't want too much of an age difference between him and any future sibling that he has.  We want them to be about 3 to 4 years apart.

Welcome! I am going through the same feelings. My son is only 5 months but I've always wanted 2 kids who were close in age together. I'm in graduate school and will start an internship next December so I'm torn if I should have a second baby now so he or she will be older when I start my internship, or wait until I'm done with school which will be another 2-3 years. It's tough. Good luck!
