So all of this talk of ham sandwiches and diva cups today had me researching these feminine hygiene marvels over at Amazon.com. You ladies nearly sold me- until I read this review:

So I was laughing so hard DH wanted to read it ... when I told him what it was about he made the world's worst face then started to read it. Two paragraphs in he looked at me and said... I'm not going to read all this but she's a very descriptive writer and it's funny!

That woman is hilarious! DH is watching a movie where someone is in a coma and just at the moment when the doctor says they have no choice but to unplug him I laughed out loud! I continued laughing at other things and he wanted to know what I was reading...all I had to say was it was about periods and he no longer wanted to read it.

That is fantastic Lol Makes me sort of leery about getting a Diva Cup but I've been wanting one for so long that I doubt it'll affect my decision...when I finally put that decision into play.

Also, I'm glad that it only comes in 2 sizes, since I'm pretty sure that after my 4 male-spawn, I would be the Mega Ultra Jumbo Big Gulp size. I mean, I can't even hold in my farts anymore, so it's a wonder the whole thing hasn't atrophied into a big gaping black hole.

I think that it's safe to say after reading comments like this- that @valstulas wields her creative verbal sword verily enough to have at least contributed a third of the DNA responsible for the creation of this theoretical review-writing wunderkind.
