How many weeks along are you? What fruit/other bizarre item is your baby sized like today? 23 weeks - grapefruit/football/baseball mitt. (These all feel drastically different!)

How are you feeling? Symptoms/special feels you'd like to share? Progressively BIGGER, but it turns out sweater dresses and baby bumps go together like PB&J, so at least I can look cute while expanding. 

Upcoming appointments? Glucose test next Thursday.

Questions? Any STM+ have recommendations for what NOT to do before the glucose test?

How are you feeling? Symptoms/special feels you'd like to share? Still pretty good, I watched her roll around last night which was weird! Some of my nausea returned which was annoying, and I’ve been getting foot cramps

Upcoming appointments? Had one today and everything is great (heart rate, my blood pressure/weight, etc). Nothing strange or interesting to report

Questions? More rhetorical, but why do I cry at stupid commercials? Seriously, the Olympics thanks Mom commercial? Waterworks. Ugh. Lord help me if anyone plays “I hope you Dance” by Leeann Womack

It's almost still Friday here...

How many weeks along are you? What fruit/other bizarre item is your baby sized like today?  20.  I have no idea what fruit that is... but @abastian00 what kind of grapefruit is the size of a football?!  And I want it because that's the only food I crave.

How are you feeling? Symptoms/special feels you'd like to share?  Okay really.  Large and kind of like I've overeaten all the time.  But not too bad.  Vomiting is down to once a week.

Upcoming appointments?  My next one is in a month.  Around that time I'll do the glucose test as well.

Questions?  I'm really nervous about the glucose test.  I've gained 15 pounds, largely in the last month (or possibly 2 weeks).  I was really thin when I got pregnant and had horrible morning sickness so I didn't gain at all at first.  Even now I don't eat all that much or that many things (mostly aforementioned grapefruit).  My doctor told me the weight is because of eating mostly fruit and that I need to stop because it puts me at risk for GD.  He's also concerned I'm anemic.  So now I'm really worried about it.  And it's so hard not to eat fruit.  Any advice?  Comfort?

@temurlang1 - the best grapefruit ever?!?

I'm a ftm, so not sure I'll have any real advice re: the glucose test (also worried about how it'll go), but maybe try supplementing your diet with more grains, legumes and dark leafy greens? That'll give you more fiber and a ton more iron, and might help balance everything out a bit. Other than that, I'll keep my FX that your dr is just an overly cautious person and all is well!!

What fruit/other bizarre item is your baby sized like today? Pomegranate, which was my first major preggo craving in first tri.

How are you feeling? Symptoms/special feels you'd like to share? I'm bummed because DH left for his first hitch on the slope yesterday. My ms has finally tapered off again, which is awesome! I have an old hip injury that's flaring up, but I'm going to yoga later today and I'm hoping that'll calm it down. 

Upcoming appointments? 2-26 for a monthly check and glucose test. boo

(Lurking Friday ticker), @redmar, I try to do 100 a day, which is what my birth class recommends. DH and I call them "red light kegels" because I do them every time I hit a red light.

@abastian00 yeah I'm trying to alter my diet. My doctor is not super cautious, at least with me (not high risk). He has previously told me the only things he wants me to avoid are cocaine and extreme sports ) I know the glucose test is standard and in our area it's also usual to keep the pregnancy weight down. Still worrisome though.
