HcG levels

10 wks 5 days it was 123,123.  Is that good?  Thanks!

Re: HcG levels

  • Why are you still having betas done at 10 weeks?  Betas are kind of useless unless you know how much they have increased since the last draw, but I've never heard of them being done much past 4 or 5 weeks.  At this point you should have or should be having an ultrasound done (if your doctor does early ones, some only do the anatomy scan between 18-20 weeks).  Unfortunately I don't even think betas would really tell you much at this point anyway, since you're almost to the point where the NT scan, and later the A/S would tell you more about how the baby is doing.

  • Yeah they stopped doing mine at 6w. What was your last number?
  • Mine was stopped at 6 weeks. My dr. said that heartbeat and rate was next step to checking viability. My levels stopped doubling and I was nervous. Dr did sono to check if pregnancy was viable. Heard a strong heartbeat and dr said not to worry. I'm 15 weeks now and baby is measuring and growing properly. NT test done at 11- 13.6 weeks.
