So I was sitting downstairs and kept hearing a beeping noise every minute or so. I figured it was either a smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector. I went upstairs to my master bedroom (where our carbon monoxide detector is) and the noise got louder. Without kneeling down next to it and waiting to verify, I unplugged it. The noise stopped so I figured it was the carbon monoxide detector..but then when I plugged it back in, it's not beeping. So obviously it's not battery powered since it is plugged in..but why wouldn't it make the noise anymore?
I know carbon monoxide is nothing to mess around with. Anyone else have experience with this?
*Update*
I just pressed the test button, it went off, and now it's going off periodically again.. I just got my neighbor's so I'll see if that goes off and if so, I'll call the gas company I guess..
