Moby wrap

I was thinking of getting a wrap or sling, and after doing some research I thought the moby wrap was pretty cool. The only problem is that I would only be able to get it in March ( I don't live in the US) and by then my baby will be almost 16 weeks. Is it worth getting it? Will he be to big for it?
Thanks in advance

Re: Moby wrap

  • Have you looked at the K'Tan?  Same as the Moby, but easier to put on.  It is two rings instead of one long piece.

  • that was the time where DD was too heavy as well. I think once she hit 14 lbs or so, the Moby wrap just sagged and I never felt secure having her in it and we switched to the ergo.  I did really like it when she was tiny...but it had a pretty short shelf life for us
  • If you can only get it at that point I would go with something that will last longer. Maybe check out a Mai tai? The infantino sash is a good value. An ergo or something similar is also good.

  • I agree with the others.  Moby and K'tan are GREAT for newborns but if you can't use it till then, you won't get your monies worth.  Go with an Ergo or Beco at that stage.
