So we'll be doing sandwiches soup pasta salad and desserts.. Cake, cheesecake squares, the favors will be decorated cookies.. Any other ideas!? thanks ladies..

Is there a theme? My aunt threw one for her DIL, and the theme was "books." So all the food related to different books.

"If You Give a Mouse a Cookie"- chocolate chip cookies
"Green Eggs and Ham" - deviled eggs with green yolk filling
"Cloudy with a Chance of meatballs"- BBQ marinated meatballs
The cake was created to look like a pile of books

The menu for my sisters shower is very similar. Sandwiches and soup, fruit salad, pasta salad, and cookies and brownies with the cake. We're also doing lemonade and iced tea.
