Shellac manis-thoughts?

I have heard mixed things on whether or not these are safe. I am addicted to them but want to make sure I won't be hurting my baby if I continue my 2-3 week pampering regimen. I am also more worried about how they soak off the old shellac nails with acetone.

  • I didn't even think about it... and I did shellac on my nails today. Hope it is ok!

  • I was told the polish was fine but the acetone remover isn't safe while pregnant.

  • I'm a nail tech, and I believe they are fine! Most of the shellac products are Oder free, and lots of salons use led lights now which are said to be better then uv. If worried about soaking off, try buffing lightly or wear a safety mask during process. :)
